We are looking at purchasing the 160 points in one year and have 3 boys. When looking at the charts for points I noticed that most studios and one room villas say they sleep 4. My question is with a 7, 3 and a 6 month old (5 total with my wife) can we get a a studio or one room? Or do we have to get a double room that sleeps up to 8? Thanks

With a child under three you can do a studio. Once the baby turns three, Disney has been allowing five in a one bedroom, but will not provide any additional bedding (no rollaways). Some of the one bedrooms at AKL will officially sleep five.

All DVC villas are equipped with Pack 'N Play's for the under-3 crowd, so you don't have to worry about which bed the little kid sleeps in.

A number of the AKV 1-bedrooms sleep 5 with a pull out chair added to the livingroom. But this is the only resort so far to offer this sleeping arrangement.

Since the OP's question has been answered, I am closing this thread. Anyone who wishes to discuss occupancy, may do so in this thread.

zimboys - First of all, welcome to the DIS and the DVC Forums! Just wanted you to know that we limit occupancy discussions to the thread mentioned above. Unfortunately, occupancy discussions bring out the worst in some posters.
