How many hours in the day will I need to do Dis-con? I've signed up for just about everything and just now realized I need atleast 10 hours more per day. Whats a girl to do? I remember thinking when some one posted a thought about sleep during Dis-con---why would that be a problem----I had no idea there would be so many mini-meets to choose from. I'm going to need a planner just to make sure I'm where I need to be at the time I need to be there. I JUST WANT TO DO IT ALL. I'm thinking about keeping track of all the meets just incase I'm somewhere close I can just stop in---like at Kimos or the Adventure's club. Thought I'd be nervous---but that would take time, which I will be a little short of so I'll skip being nervous.

Seee you all soon PattyN

Patty - I know the feeling I just sooo don't want to miss a thing but I think it's gonna be inevitable I just can't possibly be in 2 places at the same time. I'm planning on sleeping..................

..........oh blimey I don't know when I'm planning on sleeping LOL I'm sure I'll fit it in between a couple of meets ;) ;)

You won't have to worry about keeping track of things. Once all the mini meets and official events are released, Patinmn will put together the most amazing itinerary. This was an invaluable tool for last year's convention. It made organizing our time very easy. :)

What I found most difficult last year was staying out late (after midnight) almost every night - then trying to get moving early the next morning. That's why learning to survive on very little sleep comes in handy. ;)

Against everything most people have told me, I need more sleep as I get older. I'm a happy boy when I get 8 hours in. But that's pretty much thrown out the window when I'm at DISCON. Too much to do! That's why I'm staying for a week or so afterward...so I can catch up on my down time.

I dalepool. I agree with all my fellow DISers above.

I missed some great meets because I didn't think that I could make them.

I missed the solo meet, Jellyrolls, Adventurers Club, Keyes to the Kingdom.

I don't want to miss them this year...lol.

And I would have beenlost without Patinmn's most excellent itinerary. Thank you, Patrick.

Good luck to all of us.

Be prepared to get up early in the morning and to go to bed even earlier in the morning...lol.

Like 14 to 18 hour days on some days. But that's probably only if you stay up real late. Pleasure Island stays open until 2:00 A.M....lol.

Emma - don't worry we'll hold you up with a stick and wake you up if something interesting happens - but I know what you mean - earlier this year we were having dinner at the Yachtsman and I fell asleep at the table - I was a bit jet lagged it always happens to me on the second night and this time I'll be doing the Hoop Dee Doo - hope it's entertaining;)
