How many hours for a reservation are you allowed your table on dining plan do they tell you when you sit down?

You book a time to sit down, not a time to get up and leave.

There's no time limit, though I'm sure Disney would like it if you chose not to sit at a table for three or four hours during a busy meal time.

Dining plan or not, makes no difference. There is no set time which you are required to keep when occupying a table. Holding one in a sit-down restaurant for hours past regular dining time (for example to watch fireworks) is generally not done. Not sure what they would do if you indicated that you were finished ordering and eating, but just wanted to sit at the table for another hour or two. I'm sure some do it, but if everyone did it, there probably would be a time limit on tables.

Realize that once you've eaten and hopefully not rushed through your meal it's then time to leave. The server makes less money if you sit at the table too long and you keep other people waiting for your table to empty.

Is there a reason you would like the table for longer than it would take you to eat?

Thank you we will probably be hour and half at most I only asked cause there is lots of times for reservations and thought there could be a limit but obviously won't stay all afternoon or evening
