How many have stayed at All The DVC Resorts?

How many of you have stayed at all the DVC resorts including VB & HH?

1. How long did it take you to stay at them all?

2. Which is your favorite (I understand the home bias) after seeing and staying at every one?

We're short one - HHI. We own at three, OKW, VWL and BCV.

Best one: OKW
Second best: Tie between VWL and SSR

Least Favorite: BWV

VB is nice (for a short stay for us, not an entire week). We own at BCV but my husband has become disillusioned with it because of the lack of maintenance.

We've stayed at all of them. We purchased at HH and OKW in 2000 and our first summer vacation we stayed at HH for 5 nights then drove to WDW, stayed 3 nights each at OKW, VWL, BCV, BWV and then went to Vero for 3 nights. Ended the trip with 3 nights at the Poly concierge. Then in Feb 2004 we spent President's Day week at SSR. We don't have a favorite except for HH. We go there each summer and it's a "must" trip for us. All the other resorts have their pluses and minuses but I must say that at each resort the pluses far outweigh the minuses. We love each of them

I have stayed in all but one and I did visit that one - still need to find time to make a ressie at HH but I do tend to love to stay close to the Mouse!

We purchased and stayed for the first time in 1992 and I have managed to stay at each one when it is new and just opening so I can get a feel if I need points there or not - still don't have points at HH or BCV - yet.

My fave is still OKW - it was our first and I always just choose to "go home again" even with points at the others. I do tend to stay at the others now and then.

I haven't stayed in all of them yet, but my goal is too eventually do it...

We have stayed at BWV, VB, and HHI...

OKW will be a first for us this trip..

DW and I love the theming of VWL, and during an open house we saw the room layouts for SSR and definately can see ourselves staying there..

The only resort I have a hard time justifying staying at is BCV... We own at BWV and are usually able to book Standard view rooms... I just can't bring myself to spend the extra points to stay..

One thing I would recommend for everyone is a stay in a Fort Wilderness Cabin... Those were very nice, and it was fun exploring the Campground.

I'm working on it! So far I've only stayed at BCV, BWV & HHI. I'm excited to be trying OKW & Vero in July. I just added points at SSR so I know I'll be staying there soon and I'm hoping to do the cruise in 2008 and want to do a couple nights at VWL either before or after. I think they're all wonderful. When I take my 81yo father and senior aunt & uncle it works out best for us to stay at one of the Epcot resorts because of their ECVs as they can easily get to 3 parks without deal with the bus. Since the buses only hold two wheelchairs or ECVs it's kind of a hassle to get to the parks. This trip I'm taking my DD & granddaughters and we're driving so I thought it was a good time to experience OKW & Vero. I don't think have a favorite yet either, I love them all!

We've stayed at all the ones on WDW property. Really looking forward to staying at HH one day. We used to live in Vero Beach, and really don't have any desire to visit there (our kids called it "Zero Beach." Long story.)

Each one has it's unique charms, and when we call to make reservations past the 7 month window, we just ask for what's available. I love 'em all.

I like OKW for the villa size. Nothing's comparable. You've got Epcot with BWV and BCV. Honestly, I don't see that much difference - a BW view is kinda special, and Stormalong Bay is a perk for Beach Clubbers, but the two tend to balance the other out.

I really like VWL, but DW and DD are a little less enchanted. DS loves it.

SSR is a nice hybrid between the OKW feel and the other resorts, and proximity to DD is becoming more and more of a plus for us.

See? I'm so easy to please it's pathetic.

I have stayed at all but VWL and VB, but have spent a lot of time at VWL other than staying overnight in a room there.

Based on where I have stayed (and not counting VWL), I would say that it really depends on the situation as to what my favorite resort is. I know that my least favorite resort is BWV. If forced to rank the others, I would probably put them in this order:

1) HH
2) OKW (I like having two queen beds in the studio--breaks the tie)
3) SSR (proximity to DD, great sofa beds!)
4) BCV (which I do love)
5) BWV

I have points at OKW, VWL, BWV - use to have points at VB but sold them.

We've stayed at all the resorts. Members since 1993. How long it took depended on when the resorts were built. The last one of course would have been SSR, and we first stayed there fairly early, when only 1 building was opened. Likewise with BCV and BWV, we stayed at those resorts for the first time within about the 1st 6-months they were opened. First stayed at VWL about a year after it opened. Same for HH and VB, where 1st stay was about sometime in the 1st year.

The record is OKW. We stayed there for the first time about 2-3 hours after we became members. (We bought on site in June '93, and stayed there that same night)

Also have used points to stay at DL (Grand Californian) and Disneyland Paris. Do they count for anything?????

As for a favorite, whatever DVC resort I'm currently staying in at the time is a 'favorite'. But in practice, we stay at OKW more often since it's our home resort, the rooms are larger, and the points are lower.

We've also stayed at all 7 DVC resorts and have had great experiences at each. We've always found very positive aspects at each resort.

We tend to stay mostly where we own (OKW and HH), but have had no trouble making reservations at 7 months at the other resorts either.

We've stayed at all 7. We own at VWL. We've been members since April, 2001, and it took us about four years to stay in all of them. Here are my favorites in order:

1) VWL
2) BWV
3) BCV
4) SSR
5) VB
6) OKW
7) HH

Have also used points to stay at the Disneyland Hotel in CA, the Newport Bay Hotel in Disneyland Paris. Recently stayed at the Hollywood Hotel at Hong Kong Disneyland, but not on points.
