We are in ROFR as I write, and are committed to buying even if it doesn't pass. Here is our dilemma.

There will be 7 of us going for sure plus guest(s). We have talked to extended family about a trip in January now DMIL and DSIL both want to come with us. :hippie: (now favorite son in law). 9 people. We plan on either 2 studios or a 2 bedroom unit. Can we get 5 in a studio or 9 in a 2 bedroom? We already will have one on the floor regardless since he will not share a bed (he has a form of autism). I know disney resorts (accept AK) says up to 4 (studio) and 8 (2 bedroom) but can that be stretched?

Worst case scenario is one will have to wait until next time. It's a good problem to have.:thumbsup2 DMIL will get the invite if we can't make it work for all.

Studios will accomodate 4 plus a child under 3. Member services is allowing 5 of any age in a 1 bedroom unit, but NOT in a studio (and perhaps 9 in a two bedroom unit). Additional bedding will not be supplied. You will need to bring an air bed or sleeping bag for the addional person.

Some AKV units will have a fold out chair/bed for the 5th/9th person.

Since DVC occupancy discussions quickly become heated, they are only allowed in thiis thread, where you may continue the discussion, if you wish.
