How Many Grand Villas are there at WDW

Does anyone know how many Grand Villas there are at WDW and how they're broken down ie. 4 @ BWV, 5 @ VWL, 8 @ OKW, 4 @ SSR?

I'm thinking about inviting my brothers, sisters and their spouses for what would amount to being a Grand Gathering and would love to have us all stay together. My problem is that my big home resort is BCV which as you know doesn't have GV's. I do have a 25 pt ownership at OKW, but 25 pts won't even allow me one night in a GV any time of year. That means that I'm at the mercy of the 7 month rule. DS doesn't finish his school year until the end of June which rules out June and one of my sisters is a school teacher so we're restricted to July or early August (she's in TN where they go back to school mid-Aug.). I'm just trying to figure out what the likelihood of my being able to book a GV at the 7 month point is.

6 at BWV (you can forget about these at 7 months)
20 some at OKW (you might have a chance, but you'd do better at getting a two bedroom and a studio)
Not sure at SSR

1) DVC Grand Villas

2) Grand Villas go pretty quickly, especially during low DVC point seasons.
3) Call for your ressies as soon as your 7-mth window opens.
4) If necessary, do day-by-day and wait-list for other days.

Summer is a slow time for DVC'ers. Its a very, very busy time at the world, but not as popular with DVC members. Good luck!

If you have two UY's transfer points from one into your OKW contract - they're now all OKW points to book at 11 months. If not, buy points to transfer from any resort into your OKW account and, you guessed it, they're all OKW points to book at 11 months. Otherwise, take your chances at 7 months but SSR will be your best bet because they charge way too many points for those (my opinion) so they are more likely to be available.

The only other suggestion if you want OKW would be to bank/borrow and book the first night of your trip at 11 months (Sunday if often the most difficult night to book).

You might also try "swapping" points with an OKW owner who wants to stay at BCV. You make their ressie for them at 11 months, and they make your ressie for you at 11 months.
