I just read the post about kids on rides and am wondering how many fit in a seat as we will have a baby with us and two boys ages 4 and 6. If I am with the baby, can DH ride with both boys at the same time? I was thinking that they could do DUMBO and things like that alone until I saw the age 7 rule. So will DH havee to ride Dumbo with each separately? What about the dark rides? Peter Pan, Haunted mansion, etc? Thanks!

I know 3 can fit in HM, and PP, I'm pretty sure they can on dumbo too. Also aladdin.

ETA: Buzz lightyear also, in fact, I don't know of to many rides that 3 can't fit on. I think the Barnstormer is only for 2. Maybe Astro orbiter(we've never been on this, why I don't know). Maybe someone can add something if I'm missing it. HTH

You will find tha most "vehicles" for the rides will accomodate and adult and 2 small children so you should have no problem with that.

The ones you mentioned : Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan and Dumbo all fit 3 (when 2 are small children). So will BTMRR, Slash Mountain, Buzz. The only ones in the Magic Kingdom that would be a problem for you are Space Mountain, Astro Orbitr and the Indy Speedway.

Pirates, Small World, Tea Cups, Pooh & Jungle Crusie will fit the whole family together. :wizard:

Dh fit on Barnstormer with DS2.5 & DD5 On the carpets, he sat in the back with DS, while DD5 sat in the front by herself. All four of us fit in Haunted mansion car, but I was holding DS on my lap

We have found that it depends on how big everyone is. We could squeeze 3 people in some of the cars but have found it is much more comfortable to just do 2 per seat.

Try here: All Ears

They have pictures of most of the rides seating. From there you can see about how much room each ride offers.

In general most rides accomodate 2 adults easily. So 1 adult and 2 children can fit in a seat. My mom used to visit MK with me and my brother when we were about the age of your children and we would have no problems fitting into seats. You and your DH may not be able to ride in a car together but no child will have to sit alone.

Yes, that will be fine!

I travel as the solo adult with my dd's and even now at 9 and 11 we can fit three in a seat on almost everything. The only things I can think of where we have to separate are the Barnstormer and RnRC.

We fit fine in Splash, Big Thunder Mtn, Buzz and Haunted Mansion as well as all the Fantasyland dark rides including Peter Pan. On Buzz I sit in the middle and steer while the girls use the guns, plenty of room but if you want to "play" you will have to separate!!

You can also take the baby on any ride without a height restriction if you like. My youngest dd rode just about everything at 7 months with us and loved it, I used a snugli for lines and rides.
