How many extra blankets in a 1 bedroom?

We're about 2 1/2 weeks out from a stay at VWL. So, I feel like I can start packing.

This year is the first year with no kid in a pack & play, so we're going to take air mattresses for both kids to sleep on (everyone sleeps in the bedroom). I'm planning on taking sheets for each mattress, but I'm wondering how many blankets I need to take. I read on Allears that there are two extra blankets per unit...is that correct? We're flying so I have to be a bit judicious in what we take. I'm thinking if I take one extra blanket per kid (a favorite for each) we should be good if there are two blankets in the unit.

There should be 2 total blankets in the unit- as long as you don't need one on your bed then there should be one for each of the kids.

I do not recall having 2 extra blankets in my 1-bedroom at BCV in August. The main bed was made up with triple sheeting, which includes 1 blanket.

There was a single plastic zippered pouch in the closet that contained the blanket for the sofabed.


At AKV, we had two such pouches and therefore 2 extra blankets because we had the sofabed and the fold out chair in the living room.

Where are you staying? If the unit has a sleeper chair, BLT, AKV, OKW, VGF you will have bedding for both the chair and sofa.

We're at VWL this year. I can remember one blanket last time we stayed there in 2011, but not two. I have a fairly good sized duffel bag...I'll just put as many blankets into it as possible to be safe.

I assume the "no extra bedding" rule extends to blankets as well as sheets?
