I agree. With one character, I managed to score about 40 chairs or so. I think the problem is not with the other VMK'ers, but with one's computer. I have had no problem getting on (except for now!) and the lines have been moving smoothly.

As for people having more chairs than others, well, it is a game and games are competitive. If you were running a race, would you ask the other people to slow down so you could catch up?

People here on the Dis are the grandest, most generous folks around, aren't they? I have plenty of chairs and plenty to share. I feel certain that if anyone puts out a cry for help, others will rush to his/her aid.

I have 60 chairs. I started riding at 10 am and stopped when it crashed (6 hours). I got so many for my friends that are unable to get on today. I knew they would want some and would not be able to get any for themselves. Did not plan to sell any off, but maybe i will if i have too many left after handing them out, but more than likely i will hang onto them like the 20 sets of pink doors I have.

How is this any different than the people that consistantly play the games over and over and over? Lets take Fireworks for example, the same people win it and get the credits and the ice and the other people don't have a prayer of ever having a chance?

Should we whine about that? Should I moan and complain that some are "hogging" all of the ice and Fireworks credits? Oh poor me I can't win ice.

I was ok at Fireworks and would be able to finish game but once they increased the credits and added the ice giveaway I could not make it past the first cut. That meant no ice for me! You know what I did? I went and traded some of my really great items like a White Snowman and a Haunted Clock to get the ice.

Using works like greed and hogging and scamming isn't right.

The people that play Pirates all the time, sometimes making it difficult to get into a game are they "greedy"? Are the hogging?


No, just like anything you win some you lose some and I don't feel bad about it at all. VMK didn't put a limit on how we could do this like they do in staff games.

Why can't you get on? Because the servers can't handle it? Your computer can't handle it? You don't have a high speed connection? You don't have the patience to get into the rooms? You don't have the time?

Interesting that we never complained about mules like this before, Dis actually had a mule ball. It isn't the mules that is crashing this thing, it is the people playing. VMK crashes every weekend even if they are not giving away Everest chairs.

So if you didn't get as many chairs as you want maybe do what I had to do with the ice? Pony up some stuff and trade for them, just like anyone who wasn't able to devote a Sunday to VMK has to do.

Ok wow, I agree that using your mules simultaneously to get a lot of chairs is really unfair as it increases the amount of ppl online and causes more disconnects/server crashes/vmk closings and all that other bad stuff...

But right now it's closed, ok? and NO ONE can get on. Including ppl with their mules So just take a deep breath and let's hope it comes back up soon! So we can all get some chairs.

P.S. Right now, I have no chairs either! But if I can get on and get some, I'd be happy to give ppl some if they don't have any!

You are one of the first to say that you are willing to share, while others are busy saying I need to sell and sell fast, or the price goes down. What we need to do is remember this was a game created for the young and young at heart and right now I have a young, that is not to happy! So daughter get's upset, dad get's mad at the cause.

I understand everyones frustration at not be able to get into VMK but it is no one persons or group of people's faults.

The DIS is known for it's generous members and it goes without saying that if there is a need the need will be filled here.
