How many DVC'es are staying over Thanksgiving??

If you are...when are you going, for how long, where are you staying and what all do you do that week since it is crowded by mid week. Do you go and not hit the parks? Thanks!!!

We will be arriving on Thanksgiving Day. We will be there until Dec. 6th. We have done this time frame for the last two years and it works out great because we miss a lot of the crowds. Once Sunday comes around it is much less crowded.

We're at DVC, but not at WDW-3rd Thanksgiving in a row at HHI. Can't wait for Signe's!

We'll be at SSR Tuesday, November 25 through Sunday, November 30. We'll be doing parks since my sister and her family are joining us (school issues require we go during Thanksgiving). There will be eight of us in a two bedroom villa. Planning on getting groceries delivered and having most of our meals in the villa. We'll take advantage of the longer hours in the evening by having a nap and dinner in the villa.

This will be our first Thanksgiving trip!

We're a party of 22, staying at BWV. Four 2br and one 1br.

Arriving Sunday, November 23. Everyone else is leaving on Friday, November 28. But, we (the members/hosts) are staying until Saturday.

I'll need that extra day to decompress after all that time with DH's family. (JK)

Also, I'll use that last day to reflect on and treasure all our DVC memories. Our membership will go up for sale as soon as we home. DH says he's Disneyed-out and I need another $20,000 to fully fund my kitchen remodel.

We're going 11/21-11/28. We usually stop going to the parks Wed pm. We're going to get a car for either the full trip or partial and head over to the Space Museum and Daytona.

We will be there the same days but we leave on Friday the 28th. We too will not step foot into a park on Thanksgiving or the day after that is why we leave on Friday. One year we went to EC and got there about an hour after park opened and it was CRAZY. Never again.

We'll be there for our second Thanksgiving week trip in a row!! We arrive Sunday, Nov. 23rd and leave Tues. Dec. 2nd. We go at this time as the kids have off from school the whole T-day week so I just take them out for the Mon. and Tues. after. Our reservations are for BWV right now but hoping to change them to VWL. We are meeting friends and family down there too.

We do the parks and thanks to TGM's advice they were no problem!!

We were down MLK weekend and AK was busier that Sunday than Thanksgiving day 2006!

We're taking a later flight back on Friday like we did last year. Kids wanted to go check out the GF so we went over there and had lunch at the cafe, then boat to MK, bus back to SSR, collect bags and wait for DME. I think our flight this year leaves at 7:30pm ish.

We've requested yet again CP near the quiet pool. Now the big debate is a car for the full trip or just get one for Wed-Thurs.

We are going for our third Thanksgiving trip. We are arriving on Monday, Nov. 24th and leaving Monday, Dec. 1st. We are staying at BCV for the 24th-27th and AKV concierge the 27th-1st. We love it this time of year and we also use TGM so the parks aren't too bad. I'm not sure what we are doing this year (park-wise) but we are definitely doing Candlelight Processional and MVMCP.

We will be at WDW from Nov. 22-29th. I can't wait ! I have never been to WDW during the holidays?? I am hoping that the Christmas decorations will be up... Can someone tell me if MVMCP will be going on the week of Thanksgiving??

I know last year the only night they had it was the Sunday after Thanksgiving. This is why we don't leave until the Monday after Thanksgiving. I am not sure if there was one the weekend before.

We will be there from Nov 24th to Dec 6th, so we have plenty of time, even though it will be our kids first trip. This is the first trip on Thanksgiving in a great number of years, so we will play it by ear, but don't plan on doing much T-day. We will be at SSR, so DTD looks good!

It is Nov. 21st and 30th ....we might go to the 21st but we depart on the 28th. Well there are dates before our trips and after our trips....but as far as your trip goes.....you will just miss going.
