Just curious and thinking of trying this. Does anyone have a picture of their's from a recent trip. I see the picture on the web site but thought it might be nice to see one at a DVC resort....to get a better idea of size and all. I am considering using one in the future. I apologize if I posted this earlier but I can't seem to find the post if I did. :goodvibes

I have not been a huge owner's locker supporter but i decided to give it a whirl this trip.

If no one posts a pic of theirs I will take some next week.

I dont have a picture of my locker, but I can share with you how I prepared for mine.........

I used an 18Gal/68L storage tub to mimic the size of the OL I would be receiving. I packed all my items in ziplocs and made sure everything fit with the lid before transferring it into my suitcase. These items filled 1 large suitcase and 1/2 of another. I made sure I took suitcases that would fit inside each other for the trip back, because I would only need to bring home clothes and electronics. Well everything went into the locker perfectly!!!!

I think I had a tub from Target. The OL is much more sturdy, but the tub was perfect for measurement.

We've had our locker almost 2 years and it has become an integral part of our vacations.

Next week we are heading out on the Repo cruise and then 5 nights at WDW. I only booked a car for 1 night from the Port to WDW. I really dont need a car once we get to WDW because everything we need is already in our locker. So instead of having to pack toiletries for the cruise and after, I only packed for the cruise. I have the rest covered in my locker. I also have laundry detergent in my locker so I can wash all our clothes from the cruise without worrying about shopping for soap.

It's also nice, because we are flying on an airline that allows 2 bags going, but a different airline coming home that allows only 1 bag. I can use up alot of things on the cruise and still have a locker full of everything I need, and it doesnt have to come home with me. I calculate this trip alone, my locker is saving us an additional $40 in car rental extra day (last thing I want to do after a 15 day cruise is go directly to Wal-Mart for laundry soap) and at least $30 in checked baggage fees.

The service is excellent. I have John and Brian on speed-dial and my locker always makes it home before I do, complete with email telling me its back in storage!:rotfl:

My family and friends were completely impressed that I had my own storage service complete with all the things you need. Like Motrin, First Aid kit, wine:goodvibes

I've changed resorts, added days the day of checkout and threw all kinds of curves at them, and they always know where my locker is and they have a great relationship with Bell Services. Even the Bell staff speak very highly of OL. They dont just drop off a box and leave like the UPS man:rotfl:

Well I hope that helps and their website is www.ownerslocker.com

There is a photo of a locker placed next to a dining chair in this post. It will give you an idea of the size.

Ours is the same size as the recycle bin provided by our city (in case you have one too). Never thought to take a photo of our Owners Locker. That's actually a good idea! The convenience is wonderful and the customer service is best I've had from any business, ever. I am going to evaluate the contents of my locker next trip and see if we need another just for clothes. We always fly and having less luggage to deal with nowadays makes life less complicated as well as less expensive!

Sorry no pictures, but if you still need it next week, I'll take one. We'll be meeting up with "Joe" then. (Joe is our locker's name, we're strange people in our house!)

And, while you didn't ask for it, I have to again John/Brian, and their business. I convinced DH we should try OL out and he went along with it kicking and screaming. Now he wants a second-I have no idea what he plans to stick in it!

I've said this before: Because of "Joe", we could walk out the door in 10 minutes if we had to, and go to WDW. Literally, throw some clothes in a bag, and go.

Owner's Locker is a keeper! :thumbsup2

It's a large sized sturdy box, and gosh, we've put everything in except for the kitchen sink. Initially we got it just for convenience (hated schlepping our stuff through the airport, esp. with the stupid 311 restrictions).

Now, it's also turned into a moneysaver since the airlines are charging for a second checked bag, and we don't need one thanks to Owner's Locker.

I love it! It's great knowing that even if our checked luggage got lost in transit, we would still be quite comfortable since our toiletries, pajamas and flip flops will be waiting for us inside our Owner's Locker. In addition to that, I've got lots of other stuff, like laundry detergent, and this trip may add a crock pot :rotfl:

John and Brian are so friendly and flexible. Even when we go to Vero Beach (where they don't deliver), they've been so nice to meet us at the airport (MCO, of course) when we arrive and depart to drop off and pickup our locker in person!

Once, when stuck in a traffic jam (bad accident on I95) on the way to the airport, Brian even gave us some on the fly traffic re-routing directions.

I can't say enough good things about Owner's Locker. I'm a beta tester who will be continuing to use Owner's Locker indefinitely after my testing period expires. It really makes travelling so much more relaxed and worry free, and really, isn't that what vacation is all about? :lovestruc

We love ours!

We are also missing it terribly this week. DH and I need to travel to Chicago next week for business. It's been miserable packing. Both of us keep remembering things we don't usually need to pack (and do for this trip) because it's "in the Owners Locker". Phone chargers, modem cords, mouse for the laptop, pajamas, slippers, "our" shampoo, etc, etc, etc.

To make matters worse, I've just found out the airline will charge us $15 each way for the FIRST checked bag - more after that one.

I'm wondering if John can start shipping those babies around the country;)

I need my Owners Locker!!

We have a locker and love it. It holds a ton of stuff and makes packing a lot easier. I don't have a picture of mine but will take one when I go down in Aug, I can't remember what is in it so a picture is a great idea. I do have a list of contents but I know its not complete :confused3

I signed up for OL without DH's knowledge (that's the norm around here -- LOL!) because I knew he didn't really think we needed it. I was unsure either, since we normally drive our van to the World and also because except for this year, we don't normally go more than 1x a year.

Anyway, signed up, flew to Orlando last trip, stopped at Publix for stuff to fill it up. I figured we could always cancel after our December trip if we thought it was a waste of $$. DH didn't say much about it at all.

After we got home, he says out of the blue one day how much he totally loves the locker and is so glad we did it. This is his reasoning (he's normally our trip packer and unpacker because he's our stay at home dad) - he said he was so happy when we came home not to have to unpack all that stuff -- toiletries and misc. stuff -- he could basically just dump the suitcases into the laundry room and put away our electronics gear (you all have one of those bags now don't you!) and that was it. So kind of the opposite about people saying they don't have to pack all that -- he liked the unpacking!

Needless to say, we'll be keeping our OL!

Jackie - here's what we did -- before leaving SSR and closing up our locker, I just took a digital photo of everything we were putting in the box. Once we got home, I logged into to the OL website inventory list and then just switched back and forth between my downloaded photos and the website on the computer and entered everything in the inventory list! Then I deleted all the photos -- didn't really need a photo of the box of BandAids. Way easier than writing it down or just trying to remember after you get home.

We love it.
Coming from the west coast (flying) it is the only way I can do carry on.
And the guys who own it are so nice!
Mentioned I was going to Savannah and HH and John gave me recommendations for Savannah. We never would have known to stay at the darling inn in the historic district had it not been for his advice!

The Owners Locker is the best invention ever.

We recently bought into DVC and we had ordered one OL before our first trip and filled it to the brim with loads of stuff, and I mean loads of stuff, all our bathroom stuff, laundry stuff, bottles of water, cans of red bull and some stronger 'adult' drinks for those late nights after the parks.

We have used it every time we have been down and with all our trips we just take a single carry-on bag each on the plane.

For our next trip we ordered a second locker so that we can store more stuff.

Owner's locker needs to let us upload pictures!!! I much rather point shoot, and look than type. lol

Dh and I love our OL, it just makes our trips much easier and makes it easier to have a little bit of 'home' with us (pics of grandkids, etc.).

I think this is an excellent suggestion from you both! I almost took pics of everything last trip, but knew I would never transfer it over. It would be great to have a thumbnail sheet of everything that is in our locker as part of our online account:thumbsup2

We love our Owner's Locker. And we miss it!

Here is a pic from our recent trip to AKV:

We're members from Ireland and really love our owners locker. We can leave loads of stuff in it that we only use on vacation (all our American adaptors / chargers, poncho's etc.,)

We're here at the moment and the kids and I are coming back in a few weeks for another vacation, we plan to leave all our clothes & swimming stuff in our OL so that we can just travel with hand luggage for our next trip.

We are new OL owners. I was traveling with my 2 kids without DH on our July trip. I brought down 3 medium size suitcases with us. I signed up for 1 locker and while there, I became so "locker happy" that I called Brian and had him bring another one to my villa. So coming back I only had 2 suitcases for checkin (I put one inside another) and 1 suitcase was actually just gifts!! When I came home, uppacking was a breeze. I am going back with DS9 for the F&W and MNSCHP in October and we will only have carry-on:banana: Stuff like misty bottles, refillable mugs, most toiletries items can stay in the lockers for my next return. I figure the amount of time saved packing will be huge, since it will be every 2-3months.
On the flip side, John held a wine and meet at Epcot on one of the days I was there. Not only did I get a glass of champagne:cloud9: , I got to meet John in person which was really nice. What was really important is he was asking us how they could improve their service.
