How many DVC folks have gone to DL and stayed using their points?

We went for 4 nights in 2008 staying on points at the Disneyland Hotel. DL was great and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. VGC weren't open back then, so we stayed at DLH. We loved it. Great pool and great room.

One small "benefit" at DL is that if you can't get into VGC, then DVC doesn't charge the $95 fee if you book either DLH or Paradise Pier on points.

That is true, and a great little "benefit" at that... but remember that the DLH & the PPH are Disney Collection resorts, so staying on points after March 20th will only remain a possibility for those who purchased their resale prior to then, or direct from DVC.
