How Many Disney Trips Would You Do a Year?

My limit is probably two. I like Disney, but, other destinations are calling me...

<1 - we try to go once every year and a half (or year and a quarter).
We went August last year, and will go back Oct of this year.
We'll probably hold off til April of 14 before we head back.

We went twice last year and that was enough. One trip was 14 days, one was 10. We went for 10 in February and 6 and half months later went for 2 weeks.

However, normal for us is about 10 days a year. And that's enough. If I lived closer and had DVC I could see going for shorter more frequent trips.

On the two week trip we had down days and went to Unviersal, so I think only 8 days were in the Disney Parks. By the end of it all we were exhausted

After this May trip our next trip is a toss up between an early December trip to see all the decorations, or later in 2013 so we can see all that the new Fantasyland has to offer.

0.5 to 0.75. We go every year and a half to 2 years, vacationing in other places in between. The most I have ever done is 3 times in one year: once was a family week, another was a mother/daughters trip, and the third was just DH and me on an anniversary trip.

Well, if money and time is unlimited then 2-3 day trips during special events like F&W, MNSSHP, during holiday season, 4th of July and so on.

I'd go to DL in the early summer and WDW in the winter. The best of both worlds (or coasts).

Again, if money was unlimited, and if I lived closer- I'd certainly choose to do more day trips, especially during those "special" events like the food and wine, halloween, christmas, flower and garden....I want to see disney during all these times, but they don't always make the most sense for times of my trips, since it doesn't make much sense for me to fly down and back for only a few short days (financially at least...)

For me, two weeks twice a year would be perfect. We usually only get to go once a year, sometimes twice. We also usually stay 8-10 days instead of two weeks. Our budget and other scheduling commitments just don't always work in our favor, lol.

We went four times in 2011. It ....was awesome. Two trips planned this year. We have DVC and an annual pass and live within driving distance so that helps. Two trips in 2012, but I might be able to squeeze another one in there

We went 3 times in 2011 - 12 days in May, 10 days in Aug, and then 6 days in Dec. We would go back again tomorrow if I had my way.

I went 4 times in 2011 and was able to hit the highlights- Flower & Garden in Mid May with my SIL for a girls weekend; long summer trip with my DH and kids; a quick fall trip in late Oct with my DH and kids (because they had a long weekend off from school and I really wanted to go to MNSSHP and F&W) and then a long trip during/after Thanksgiving(I love Disney at Christmas!)

THis year is shaping up to maybe hold several trips down to the World. But when we go more frequently in a year, it is because there are multiple reasons, ie we are debating going in late Sept for a weekend to do the ToT 10 miler and MNSSHP and also meet up with extended family. As it stands, that is not set in stone and my SIL really wants another girls weekend in the late spring so we will try and match our schedules up and see if we can swing it.

I live in PA and know folks that have gone almost every month in 2011 and they have alot of trips already in mind for 2012.

The most we've ever done was 3 trips (2007) in a 7 month period...totaling about 25 or 26 nights.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

If my family and I had the money and oppurtunity,we would probably go every two to three months maybe, or more. I would personally be fine buying a home in golden oaks and getting an annual pass. Oh the possibilities

If I lived within driving distance, I'd get an AP and do multiple day trips to see special events (Star Wars Weekends, Flower and Garden, Food and Wine, etc.). Otherwise, one trip about every two to three years suits me. I love Disney, but there are so many places out there to see and experience! Plus I go to the beach once or twice a summer...

We got APs with our DVC discount and the give a day-get a day promotion back in 2010. In the 12 months we had those passes, we had 4 trips to WDW for over 30 days. It was awesome, but we like to do 1 or 2 trips a year with 1 of them being a weekend visit.

We live 200 miles south of WDW. We go for approx. 8 long weekends per year.

In reality we are doing one trip every two or three years. We also have a ton of other places we want to see and would rather use some travel money for that.

If money were no option I would probably go once a year. For me personally, going too often would make it a little less magical when I do get to go. But it would be nice to go down just for a three day weekend sometimes!

Every other year seems to work for my family. After going in both 2009 & 2010, my kids were Disney'ed out. But they voted to go this upcoming Christmas and are actually excited about it, so we'll stick with this schedule.

Twice a year would be good for us. Right now I'd be happy going to Orlando every 6-8 months but trading out between Disney/Universal & Sea World.
