How many devices?

My household is 3 adults. We each have the following: Desktop computer, laptop computer, iPhone, and Nintendo 3DS.

I also have an iPad Mini, a Kindle, an old-style iPod Nano that gets minimal use these days, a wifi hotspot, and a wireless hard drive.

Roommate #1 also has a full-size iPad and an iPad Mini (he's an app developer, uses them for testing), a WiiU and a Playstation 4 (but I'm not sure those are 'devices' in this context), and additionally he owns every old Nintendo handheld system ever made.

Roommate #2 also owns a Playstation Portable system and a drawing tablet.

Oh, and we have an Apple TV or a Roku hooked up to every television in the house except the one with roommate #1's game systems, lol.

Me: PC Laptop, iPhone 5, iPad Mini, Kindle keyboard

DH: PC Desk top, PC Laptop, iPhone 5, iPad 4

DD 17: PC Laptop, iPhone 5, iPad Air (for her graduation :goodvibes), iPod Classic, iPod Nano (from way back, the little square one, she doesn't use it anymore I don't think)

DD&DS 8: PC Desktop (was older DD's, really old, lol), Kindle Fire each. They'll be getting iPad Minis for their Christmas/Bday this year. No phones until middle school.

Thinking of Ipad for DS since he is developmentally delayed and they use it in school for him and it does wonders for his development.

Too many. I have a desktop, Samsung tablet, and Android phone. DH has a desktop and an Android phone. Both of the older kids (12 & 16) have laptops and Androids, and DD has an iPod as well. Even the 5yo has her own tablet, a Disney edition Nuvi.

OP here. So now I am confused. Should I not get the iPad minis? They are not the new retina ones. I like the size and they were a great price. But we don't really need more devices...

It is just me...
Desktop computer for gaming
Laptop
Netbook
Nook
Xbox 360 with connect
Playstation
Android Phone
MP3 Player (not an ipod because I won't waste money on Apple)
Smart TV

I also plan on purchasing a Microsoft tablet in the near future for work reasons.

Four of us, kids are 14 and 15.

Five smartphones, two laptops, five iPads, four desktop computers (currently operational - another half a dozen in the basement in the state of who really knows), three working Kindles, two iPods (docked in alarm clocks), a netbook, a PS/2, 2 XBoxes, three Rokus, one google TV - and probably more than that, but that is what is in fairly regular use.

My husband spent years "in the industry" and I spent years in IT. Not all of those were paid for out of pocket.
