We're taking a 2 week trip to Southern California next summer that will be topped of at our time at Disneyland.

It will be me, DW, DD5, DD4, and DS1.5

How many days will it take us to do Disneyland? I'd appreciate your input.

Most would say that you need a minimum of three days to get a solid experience DL and DCA at the Disneyland Resort (DLR) and four is better.

I think 3-4 days is good for my family. We have a 3.5 and almost 6 year old.

We are going for 3 days next week, 2 days for DLR and 1 for DCA. :thumbsup2

I agree with 3-4 days.

It seems to be the magic number for us as well.

We're going next week and are doing 3. I would love to do more, but 3 is enough to get it all in. There aren't too many things we do at DCA so it's usually 2 days for DL and 1 for DCA.

It's always fun to have more time there though, so if you can do more, go for it!! princess:

If you want to take your time I'd to at least 4. If you don't have that much 3 is good. We did 3.5 days last time it was good. I love the fireworks and Fantasmic so we had to plan around that.

I like doing 5 days personally, then its really easy if its crowded you don't have to rush, enjoy it. take little rests. BUT that is just me. hahaha

I think alot of folks will agree that 3 is a good number

Min of 4 days, 3 nights...park hop, and hit the hotel pools to your heart's content, as DLR is a "walking" resort.

I would say 5 is a bare minimum, my DH begs to disagree and is all Disneyed out after 3 or 4.

From your Saratoga Springs DVC picture, I'm assuming you're familiar with WDW. If so, don't be fooled by the "smallness" of DL. Yes, it's similar to MK, BUT --and it's a big BUT,...DL has MORE rides in it, and MORE things to do. Just so you know. Don't expect to do the exact same things at DL as you would at MK. You'll be busier there....and have more fun.

For us 4 days seems to be about the right lenght. We can do everything and are ready to go home at the end of the fourth day.

Funny story- While walking thru tomorrowland we overheard a family talking about how they had been there for 10 days. <<This would be way to long for us
