Planning trip in Summertime. We want to travel around and see other stuff too. Question is, How many days are enough to see all at Disney with a 3yr old?
Summer is pretty crowded and I'm guessing you'll probably go back to the hotel so that the little one can take naps. I'd say 4-5 days (3 minimum). None of the rides in Fantasyland offer Fastpass, so you'll end up in some long lines.
That's a pretty hard question to answer! We've been going to Disneyworld, (oops, just saw that this was a disneyland question, sorry!) for years and we STILL haven't seen everything!
Do you know what your 'must sees' are yet? That will give you some idea...
Taking into account sun, heat, crowds and crowds... make a list of "must sees" and plan on not getting to everything. While DL is much smaller than WDW, the crowds will surprise you. Due to the 3y.o., plan on doing things in the morning, swimming in the afternoon-followed by naps, then back to the parks for less sun and cooler temps.
Just returned from Disney with 7 month old, 3 and 5 year olds. We did Disney one day and CA Adventure the next day. I do not recommend doing it that way. We feel it would have been better to have 2 days at Disney -- with time to return to hotel to nap and swim during the day. The grandkids held up beautifully, but I feel it it all ran together for them -- not enough time before/after each ride to process it.
