Anyone heard of a golf tournament for Autism on one of the Disney courses? My understanding is its done yearly?

Would like to plan a trip around that time. Any info would help

Well the Big Tourney there every year is the Childrens Miracle Network Classic which is part of the PGA Tour. Is that what you are thinking of? or a specific smaller Autism event?

No its a charity event and I think it was on Oct 15th. Its specifically for Autism

Honestly I don't know then. I'm not a golf person.

I might recommend trying a google search. I tried a quick one and the only Golf Tourney I found at Disney on 10/15/11 was for the ITSA World Congress (looks like a transportation trade group).

I actually found that its put on by Autism Gym, its a local non-profit in the area. They do it every year on the course thats adjacent to the GF. Not sure where it is but id like to try and make it down for that and some park and food time. Good excuse huh?
