Since I've never been to California Adventure Park, I'm unsure of the size of the park and how much there is to see. I'm looking into getting a 4 day hopper for DL and California Adventure. How many days should I allow to see all or most of California Adventure? I'm thinking 2 days......Thanks for any imput.

You can easily see all of it in a day (or less). There will be a couple of rides you will probably want to do more than once (Soarin' especially). Since you will have a four day hopper, and the parks entrances are about a one minute walk from each other, you might want to just go back and forth depending on crowds, etc. My last trip was three days, and we were in DCA for part of all three. I would say that I spent about 30% of that three days in DCA.

To see absolutely everything (including theater shows and street entertainment) at a mellow pace it will take a whole day. If you aren't into all the street entertainment and only a couple shows and you move fast you can see it in half a day or less.

we had a 3 day hopper in August 2001, and it was more than sufficient time for both parks, and it was the most crowded I'd ever seen it at any Disney Park (it was also the first time I had been to any of the parks during school vacation time since 1985!!).
We were there on a Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday, and it was really manageable on the weekdays.
Good luck and have a good time!!

Considering what time of the year you go i would say you would need at least one full day and maybe 1 1/2 if you like to ride your favorite rides more than once!!

I think you are right on with 2 days to see "everything" at DCA. You will also need 3 days for Disneyland. If you can only do the 4 days you have planned I would plan on at least 1.5 for DCA and 2.5 for DL. I would also plan on making the most of your hopper pass. If you are going during a time where the opening and closing of DCA and DL are significantly different, go to DL at opening then "hop" over to DCA when it opens, spend the day there and then after DCA closes, go back over to DL.

Thanks for the replys everyone! I've been taking a look at the rides and attractions on-line at DCA and I'm sure my fiance' and I can get through it in a day, or 1.5 days. He is prone to motion sickness so we'll be missing out on the roller coaster rides anyway. Thanks for the imput! :D

You can see all of DCA in one day. We were there the past 2 years in August and we were able to see it in less then a full day.

I was there during the World Series in Oct and we spend the mornings at DL and the afternoons at DCA. It worked well for us and I still didn't see everything I wanted.

We were also there for a weekend in Dec. and I still have more to do in DCA when we go in March. Just depends on how fast you tour the park and what your plans are.

Spend an afternoon there then if there is more you want, come back the next day. I don't think I would be there for an entire day, but a few afternoons.

If you get to DCA relatively early, 1 day will be plenty to see/do everything, especially if its a weekday. If its a weekend, you might need 1.5 to do EVERYTHING, but that's it.
