How Many Days Out for Room Only?

To book a room only reservation how many days out can you call and book? I thought it was 499 or less, but person on phone said to check back in May? anyone know?

Unfortunately it’s whenever they decide to load the rooms onto their booking system. There isn’t one specific day or month. Typically it happens in the summer, like June or July, so May wouldn’t be far off of that. Just keep an eye out here on the DIS as it will be hot news when it happens.

You would then update them to a vacation package as they were released to book to ensure you had your accommodations booked at the hotel of your choosing. Recently, Disney has updated this policy and the new rule is you can only book accommodations as far out as availability exists online. At the time of this writing, you can book your entire trip through the end of 2024. Typically, Disney will release availability for the following year towards the end of spring to early summer.”

Is this supposed to be 2025? The end of 2024, as of today, is 3-days from now.

Yes, hotel rooms are currently bookable for check in dates through 12/31/2025.

Yes, that answer was from early 2024.

If WDW does the same this year then 2026 bookings wouldn’t open until sometime around spring.
