How many days in advance to order discount tickets?

I was going to order my MYW tickets online since it will save us almost $50 off of the price of tickets as oposed to if we waited to purchase them when we arrive. I am wondering how many days ahead of time you need to get the advance purchase price. I had planned to wait because we have 1 day on 2 old park hoppers & wanted to apply the balance. From reading the posts it looks like you can only apply those days if you buy a nonexpiring ticket...which we won't. Guess I should just take the plunge.

Will call tickets can be ordered right up to the day before you pick them up. You could actually be sitting in your Disney Resort room, call to order the tickets, and pick them up the next morning at Guest Relations. You would get the advance purchase price on those tickets.

I ordered mine on January 3rd. I received them yesterday. I was told to expect them by January 17th. I ordered the 7 day Magic Your Way ticket. It is a credit card type ticket and it says on the back it is valid for 14 days after first use. For my AP though, I got a voucher that I will have to take to guest services. I hope this helps.
