How many days before check in can you add DP?

Okay if we check in on this Thursday.....can we add the dining plan this week before checking in??? Thanks

You need to add it at least 2 days prior to your check-in date.

It's supposed to be 2 days in advance but I've called on my way to the airport and was offered to add it
