We are planning a quick spring break trip to Disneyland. We just got back from WDW in October so we are thinking of adding on Universal since we have never been. We will be in SoCal. for 3 nights/4 days. Should we do DL and CA for two days and Universal for one or Universal for two since it will be all new to us?

You should definately do DL for 2 and Universal for 1. Even though everything will be foreign, it's a pretty small park and everything can be done in a day. It's not like the Universal in FL that has 2 parks, this one is small and I think the extra day should be used for DL. :thumbsup2

You can do Universal in one day. Go at opening and plan out what you want to do and what shows you want to see. I have always been able to do everything in one day.

I agree, one day is enough for UHS. We do it everytime we are in SoCal, but for some reason always pick the busiest and the hotest day(August).

I agree, you can do everything in one day, but I love it so much that this year we are doing three days at universal. :) :) :)

I just mentioned this in another post, but if you go to the Southern California Gray Line Bus website, they sell park tickets to Universal. The bus picks you up at your Anaheim hotel, drives you to Universal, then picks you up at Universal and takes you back to your hotel after your tour is over...

Although if you wanna do something fun. I would suggest looking into the Grayline "Universal Deluxe" tour. You spend the entire day at Universal studios, and then as soon as the park closes you get back on your tour bus, and it drives you around Hollywood and stops at some of the coolest places before you are driven back to your hotel...

Melrose Avenue, Santa Monica Boulevard and Sunset Strip, home to such trendy spots as the Chateau Marmot Hotel, Whiskey A Go Go, House of Blues and much more! A stop at Hollywood Boulevard, offers time to explore the stars on the Walk of Fame and the foot and hand prints at Mann’s Chinese Theatre. Top off your evening with a quick photo stop at Downtown LA’s beautiful music center including the Disney Concert Hall.
