How many CRV points will you buy?

When and, of course, if, CRV is announced, I plan to buy 100 to 150 points, so I will say 125.

If each of you would give a specific number, not a range, I will keep a running total of the probable purchases.

I will then multiply that total times 100 dollars to give the Disney decision makers a peak at the money we plan to spend if they announce DVC CRV.

I know some of you have no plans or desires to buy at CRV. For the sake of this particular thread, please do not tell us that here! Please also refrain from telling us that CRV has not been announced yet and may never be announced. I know that! Oh yes, and if possible, no argument about the $100 per point. I know it could be more, or less but I am not too good at math.

I'm planning 200. I already own 610 points between SSR and BWV. CRV would be the only other resorts I would want to buy into. My guide already knows this as I tell her often.

hmmm, thus far our transactions have been cash only...

my original battle plan was to have enough points for a studio each year (5 or 6 days) via banking/borrowing @ 3 different resorts.

Depending on the CRV point charts i'd assume the here-to-now minimum add-on of 25 or perhaps 30 points (just to play it safe if we want to visit in a pricer season) would do the trick.

i've got a scary, nagging feeling that perhaps they may institute a higher minimum buy-in (150+) due to unprecedented demand? Which would be a whole 'nuther matter for us (we'd probably sell off our current holdings to accommodate in that case).

i'll think happy thoughts - put us down for 30.

We'd probably buy 75 in order to bank/borrow for a trip every other year for the marathon. Being on the monorail would make it much easier to get to EPCOT at 3:30am before the start of the race!

IF I do, it will only 30ish for me. Just enough to stay every 2-3 years in a studio over the summer with banking/borrowing.

But I'm still deciding if I want BCV or CRV. We just don't do MK that much anymore. Maybe it will be AKV - that new water park drawing looks pretty sweet!
