hahaha......this is like how many sb do you have..........same for food...I have way to many but since four years ago when I discovered the internet .....I haven't bought any...maybe some of the ones that are from local churches and schools........those to me are the best

a bunch actually. my favourites are my winnie the pooh cook book and then the other 4 disney ones we have. maggie

I have filled the bottom of my microwave cabinet full of cookbooks. I have hardbacks, paperbacks, brochures. Way too many. My all time favorites are the Southern Living cookbooks. Everything I've made has turned out good. They test every receipe before printing. I've even made my own cookbook with all my internet printouts by using plastic sleeves and a large 3 ring binder.

Tons! I love to buy them more than I like cooking out of them. :teeth: I'm in the process of copying many recipes out of the ones I don't need to keep. That way I can get rid of lots of the bulky books.

Add me to the list of folks with lots of cookbooks! I, too, like the fund raiser type cookbooks. My favorites include Charleston Receipts & Charleston Receipts Repeats.

I have two ABC sb cookbooks that my sister shared with me. She included two recipes in each book & received two copies of each book.

Last April I created a family sb cookbook as a bridal shower gift. It included more recipes than I first thought & was a hit at the shower. I need to make me a copy of that book!

By the time I bought my first Disney cookbook, volume one was out of print, so I bought volume two. Then one day soem friends found volume one at at garage sale & bought it for me. All they knew was teh book was Disney & we are into disney. They didn't realize it was out of print until I got so excited when I saw it :)!

I'm embarrassed to say that I own at least 300 cookbooks. I plan to get rid a lot of them at the Fall book fair. I cook out of a few but not all. I usually try one new recipe a week from one of my cookbooks.

I have no idea how many (maybe I should count them) but I do know that one large double set of cabinets in my kitchen holds nothing but cookbooks. Some are really old - more like collectors items really, and others are newer.

..not enough, but too many for the small space in our kitchen, probably about 20. I've also started trying to get all the Disney cookbooks I can find. My favorite cookbooks are One Potato, Two Potato and the Alton Brown books.

Also.. there is a website call recipesource.com that has over 70,000 recipes - and they are all searchable in a variety of ways.

I probably have about 25 or so. My favorites are my Pampered Chef ones and one that I bought at Costco awhile back that's called the "Name Brand" cookbook or something like that;e ach recipe features a product like "Kraft" cheese or Lawry's seasoning, etc., but I have found some of the BEST recipes in there. It's a huge book.

I was given probably 20 cookbooks alone by my husband's grandmother. Apparently (long story here) they were very good friends with the original founders of Red Lobster. They sold Red Lobster in the 70's to General Mills, and in return they were huge stock holders in the company....so I think my husband's grandma must have had every single Betty Crocker (owned by GM) cookbook ever, given to her by Jules (the wife of the Red Lobster couple)....and she gave them to me. I saved my favorites and gave the rest to Goodwill. They started to repeat themselves! Every time we eat at Red Lobster we smile and think of Bob's grandparent's friends....apparently they were VERY active in Kissimmee, and they love, love LOVED to drive to Disney World 1-2 nights a week just to eat at the resorts. :p Their favorite towards the end of their lives was the Whispering Canyon and they also liked the restaurant on top of the Contemporary before it became the Cal. Grill. Cute.

Now back to original thread.

I have tons. Now that I am on the body for life diet I can not use any. I really need to buy a cook book for it.
