The thread about when you send your Christmas cards got me thinking...

How many cards do you usually send out? How many do you plan on sending out this year?

We usually send out about 75 cards... this year I think it will be closer to 100!

Fewer every year. This year probably 20 - 25.

I think last year we sent about 125

I think I bought about 25, so thats now many we will be sending out. We don't have a huge family (and most of its Jewish anyway :lmao: ) so whoever we remember gets one.

We usually send out about 60 from our family to family and friends. Dh sends out more "professional" ones to his employees, and that's another 150, but all he does is sign them.

We send out about 100 but I'm thinking of doing a severe List Purge this year. There's a woman I used to work with with whom I've exchanged Christmas letters for years. I called her over the summer and when I tried to catch up on things she said, "Oh yes, we'll read all that in the Christmas letter." When a person on your list prefers reading your Christmas letter to talking to you, it's time to take them off the list!!!

We send out 20 to 25 cards. That gets the close relatives.

Between 10 and 20.

Though this year, I'll be sending out Disney Postcards for Christmas. :D

Oh boy...I do a card exchange with our dog blog friends so that's about 150 this year then probably another 25-30 personal ones and about 40 to our volunteer team.

I'm tired just thinking about it. ;)

We send out about 300 cards each year, each of them hand-signed, but we now print the address labels for them off on our laser printer.

About 10 of those 300 get pictures of our kids in them.

Last year, I gave myself permission not to send any Xmas cards ~ and I was in heaven. :lovestruc

No stress about buying, signing and addressing all the cards.

In fact, I loved it so much, I'm not doing them again this year! :rotfl: :santa:

I'll see everyone I'd send a card to anyway, so there's no point of me doing it.

Give yourself permission to pare down your list or even eliminate it entirely ~ you'll love it. :thumbsup2

Wow! Some of you really have a lot to send out!

Everytime I think that I won't do Christmas cards or take a "few" people off the list someone (usually one that I would take off the list) bumps into us somewhere and says how they are looking forward to the Christmas card this year............

And as for family goes, if you send to one you have to send to all of them since they do talk and feelings get hurt if they all don't get a card.

So our list stays long! We usually do send out pictures of the kids as well. This year we were talking about getting the "picture cards" which I am not totally set on for sure.

Every year I have made our cards, I do get some help from the family, and they do all sign their own names on the cards! This started when I was working as a preschool teacher and not a lot of $$$ and has been kept up since everyone "loves" the cards so much.

I am thankful that it's only around 100 not 300:scared1:

Between 10-20... just close friends and family who doesn't live near us....

Between 75-100 for family & friends.

This year it will be an additional 100 because we are sending to everyone on active duty from my DHs military college.:santa:

We send out about 80 cards. About 15 of those are to neighbors which we hand deliver.
