How many checking in the week of August 26th NOT offered an upgrade?

Just wondering the percent of people who were booked at a value resort for the same week everyone else is receiving the discount for did NOT get an upgrade?
 
when I called, I "had" one, but I never go the email. We were in standard POP 8/26-8/30 booked directly thru Disney.

I am booked at POP 8/26-9/2, two standard rooms. I even called today to see if there is a code associated with my reservation...NO!!!. The CM said there is no rhyme or reason to who gets an upgrade, it's all random. Still hoping that I get an email before it's too late.

So those of you who didn't get the email but got the upgrade, which way did you vote?
 
didn't get an email....if you didn't get an email but you called, what did you say exactly?
 
I said that my email has all sorts of spam/spyware. They pulled up my reservation # and name and told me that I had the email offer for upgrade attached to my reservation. I still have not gotten the email---but we do have all sorts of spam/spyware stuff--I don't get Girl Scouts info, sometimes.

I just made my reservation Saturday for two rooms at Pop Century for the end of August. I was hoping to have an e-mail offering me the upgrade when I got to work today, but, alas, no luck.

I might call tomorrow, just to be sure.

I called about this offer to see if it was tied to our reservation but I hadn't received an e-mail. The CM I spoke to told me that it isn't tied to the reservation and that I would need an e-mail with a pin # to get the offer so I would be out of luck if my DH had it blocked by a spam filter or deleted it. I wonder if he just didn't want to waste his time looking up my info or that is what he reallly thinks. I hate to call back and bug the CMs but it is interesting that some of them are seeing it tied to the reservation.

If your checkin date is between 8/26 & 9/1 I would definitely call back. When I called I asked the cm to check to see if my email address was correct. When he went in to check that he saw that I had the code attached to my ressie. I never got the email, but I got the upgrade to SSR. I checked my spam and my trash and I could not find it.
 
We have All Star Music from 8/26 - 9/7 booked. I was so hoping we would have the upgrade. I called this morning and asked if there was a pin code attached to our reservation. The CM said if there was then I should have received a letter. Then she said that I had the free dining so I would not get another upgrade. I asked her to check and there was nothing. Oh well.

I would call back, your CM may not have know all the details!!!
 
I tried calling knowing full well they are closed, LOL...... I couldn't help it. Our dates are August 27 - sept 1 I did not get an email but I will call tomorrow just to check. That would be so cool..... then again I'm never really that lucky so I won't get my hopes up.
 
I just called this morning to see if I missed an e-mail regarding the upgrades to SSR or OKW - no luck. I'm usually not very lucky this way, so I'm not surprised. I also asked the CM to check the availability of any moderate during my dates and she had nothing to offer.

I guess we're going to be at Pop Century. I'm sure it will be fine.
 
I didn't get an upgrade and I called. Booked our room 8/26-31 the first day at POP. I was really hoping. I love OKW.
 
I didn't see the email until yesterday. Somehow Disney sent it to an email address that I didn't even know they had. It isn't the email that is on my reservation.:confused3 . Anyway, they were all booked for my dates. We have 3 other families (friends and relatives) staying at ASMu with us this trip, so, believe it or not, I am not really sure I want to upgrade.
 
Can you edit your poll to allow the 3rd option of not receiving email but getting the upgrade through another family member? That's what happened to us. SIL got the pin code (I don't know why because I'm that one that always books everything for us) and I had to call CRO and have them put a note on my reservation that I was authorizing SIL to make changes to it.

I really can't stand the whole e-mail code thing as there seems to be no way to upgrade your personal information. For example, I recently made a room-only reservation and gave the CM my current phone number/email address. The reservation never showed up online so I started getting nervous about it and called to verify. Everything the CM read back to me was correct and she did not understand why the reservation would not come up. After the call I started trying any phone numbers I could think of and finally got the reservation to come up using a cell number that we haven't had for over five years! What's up with that?
