Our trips are for 10 days and I try to book two or three character meals. Now that our son is 11, he's really not that into the characters but we still like to do a couple.

On our upcoming 8 day trip in Dec. we have a blend of buffet, Character and Sit down TS meals planned. We are a family of four with two children ages 7 and 9. This is our third trip.

Character
Dinner Chef Mickey's
Dinner Princess Storybook at Askerhaus
Breakfast at Crystal Palace

Buffet
Dinner at Boma

Sitdown TS
Dinner at Kona
Dinner at 50's Prime
Dinner at Tutto
Dinner at Chefs De France

Our last trip was a 4 day trip, we did 3 (my kids were 10, 7 and 4) - Crystal Palace, Princess Storybook breakfast and Ohana breakfast. In the past we've only done 2 each trip and the kids liked the 3 better. This next time we are going for an extra day so we may do 4. I always ask my kids which ones they want to do and try and work them in as best we can.

We have 2 planned for our March trip.
First night- Dinner at Chef Mickey.
Also have breakfast at Tusker House the day we do AK

I think that's plenty for 6 days of Disney, grandson's first Disney trip.
Can't wait!!!:cheer2:

We're two fully grown adults and we have 3 booked for a 6 day trip! CP, 1900 Park Fair (Breakfast), and Ohana (Breakfast).

No kids for us so usually zero or one (if the place we want to eat just happens to have characters, like LTT - we don't go because of the characters, we go because of the food). I assume once we have kids we'll specifically go for characters at least once per trip...

I didn't vote, because for us it really depends on how long we're going to be there for (and if the kids are with us or not)

We try to do at least one for the kids per week that we're there, usually two per week.

We've never done one before, but I'm planning to do breakfast at Chef Mickey's on our next trip (6 adults!), and possibly a breakfast at Tusker House because my DH loved Donald Duck, and I think he would love to guarantee getting a pic with him. ;) But I'll leave that one up to him, I'm happy just doing Chef Mickey's.

Usually around three. This year it will be Chef Mickey´s, Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Fare and maybe Ohana :)

I Love character meals, my DH hates them and the kids could care less anymore, but I just couldnt go to Disney and not have a couple of character meals, its all part of the fun for me. Plus, I would never stand in line to see a character so having a meal is the easiest way to get photos. Next trip we have

Cape May, Tusker House & Ohana Breakfast and CRT Lunch

We were there for 5 days and did 4 character meals (well we did Hoop-Dee-Doo as well but I didn't count that as a character meal).

We did:

O'Hana's for breakfast (characters were fun, especially Stitch but food was so-so)
Akershus for dinner (loved it and would definitely do it again)
1900 Park Fare for breakfast (very nice - we had late reservations and the characters spent a lot of time at the tables)
Chef Mickey's for dinner (fantastic)

We actually missed the Crystal Palace on the first day - we had early morning reservations and I should have known that 'early' is not in my family's vocabulary (even on vacation or especially on vacation!)

After standing in line for the characters we didn't see at meals, I'm definitely a character meal person! I think I was more excited than my 6 six old granddaughter who I pretended we were going to the meals for!

We usually stay for 8 or 9 days and we usually do about 5 character meals per trip. This year we are doing

Garden Grill, Liberty Tree, 1900 Park Fare, Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace.

Am I really the only one doing 7 in a 7 night trip?

Im mostly doing it for my daughter (almost 5). Its her first trip to Disney. Big brothers (teens) are sleeping in and I have hotel restaurants reserved at a later hour for them.

If you're at Disney and you're going to have breakfast, why not look at some Disney characters while your doing it? I can have breakfast in a regular restaurant without characters the other 730+ days in between trips.

That's how I feel too! :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc

We have 6 character meals planned along with TRex and Ohana's dinner. I'm thinking of adding Ohana's BF or CP BF in there too.

We LOVE character meals!

We do as many as we can fit in, at least one per day, sometimes two per day (i.e. CRT and CM in same day). You can never have too many.

We usually do one a day during our 5 day trip. However, this year we are only doing 4 because we want to try Yak and Yeti.
