How many bones have

Four bones, two separate incidents..

1) coccyx
2) second, third and fourth toe

1 - the last vertebrae before the sacrum. Turns out my sacrum and that vertebrae are fused and they don't like it when you repeatedly out stress on them. They crack...

I broke a bone in my hand when I was a kid. Didn't find out until years later when I went to the doctor because my tendons were sticking on the bump on my hand. I had been told it was a cyst when I was a kid. Turns out the bone healed all wonky.

I fractured my fibula last fall. That was fun.

I also fractured both sides of my T5 some time ago but didn't know about it until last October when I had an MRI done. It was news to me.

I wonder how many other bones I've broken without realizing.

I'm pretty sure I've broken a couple of toes over the years but I can't be certain.

Only one, but it was the same toe three times... It healed crooked and is now just weird looking and it hurts when it rains...

The first time I was getting ready for school in 9th grade and was walking out of my bedroom and I hit my foot on the door frame... The second time was about 7 months later and I was in ballet class and my studio was in the basement of a building and even though the poles in the floor were padded, I accidentally kicked the pole and broke the same toe again.

Then about 2 summers ago I was getting out of my car (driver's side) and for some odd reason I swung my right foot out first (Why? I don't know...) and hit my foot on the curb while wearing flip flops...

Broke my right ring finger when I was about 3. We had a window in our apartment that wouldn't stay up, so my parents put up a wooden stick to hold it up. Well, there was a parade going down our street and I went up to the window to watch and BAM.....my hand somehow hit the stick and down came the window.

Also broke my collar bone. Can't remember how old I was but maybe around 8 or so. My brother pushed me off the top bunk bed. Lovely little child he was.

Left leg whe I was 4 (horse)
Left thumb at 14 (motorcycle)
Right arm in 4 places at 15 (motorcycle), 3 fractures in the wrist, 1 on the elbow.

Broke left arm in 4th grade falling off a teeter totter. Bone popped through the skin.

Stress fracture in left foot two years ago and currently another on in same foot.

Dd broke left arm twice , right arm once plus two concussions. She's quitting hockey this year.

Fractured my right arm up by the shoulder once when I was 13. It felt numb up to my shoulder when I broke it, OUCH.

I'm a mess.

Starting from the bottom:

Two broken toes on left foot.
Three broken toes on right foot.
Left metatarsal bone broken.
Left ankle broken.
Left pinkie bone broken.
Right arm broken (just above wrist).
Left wrist broken.
Left arm broken (just below elbow).

DD has broken the same arm twice. Within 3 months.. The Dr questioned her carefully on what happened with each....

And isn't that a frightening experience? On the Friday before Mother's Day, at the babysitter's when she was about seven, DD#1 was riding standing up on the back of a Big Wheel on the street (cul de sac) when the "driver" made a very sharp turn. DD fell off and the other girl ran over DD's hand. Babysitter called me immediately, I left work to take DD to the hospital, only to be "invited" to leave the room while DD told the ER doctor what happened. At first she was reluctant, which didn't look good for me, then she finally confessed that she was embarrassed to have been riding a Big Wheel and doubly embarrassed to have fallen off!

Turns out she had broken the bottom bone (closest to the hand) on her two middle fingers and all four knuckles across her hand! They set the fingers and did what they could for her knuckles and put her in a cast from the tips of her fingers up to her elbow.

We went home and I suggested that she go in her room and have a little rest before dinner. She agreed, and promptly tripped on a coat hanger she had left on the floor and fell face-first into a textured wall in her bedroom. She came out crying, bloody from hairline to chin, with a special emphasis on her nose. She was supposed to go to the dentist the next day; I called and cancelled. I didn't want to end up in jail.

DD was tidied up enough to go to school on Monday (and she wanted to show off her cast). Unfortunately, the school playground was surrounded by poison ivy (there was a barrier, but DD breached it). She came home covered from head to toe, even inside her cast. I gave her a bath in Aveeno and covered her with calamine lotion. We both stayed home the rest of the week. (My sweet boss didn't charge me vacation time - he said he was sure this was no vacation!) She couldn't get in the pool all summer and she had a funny tan:lmao:.

It's been almost 40 years ago, and I still remember the chill I got when the Dr. asked me to leave the room. Child abuse was becoming a more prominent issue right about that time, and while I knew DD wouldn't lie about what happened, I wasn't sure she'd say anything, and if she did, whether the Dr. would believe her. Thank goodness the babysitter witnessed the accident and could swear that I was at work!

Long story just to tell you I knew how you must have felt!

Just so you don't feel too alone..I always joke that my mother didn't name me "Grace" for a reason..
Left wrist x 2
Right wrist x 3
Right elbow
Left foot
Multiple toes
...and most recently, the middle knuckle of the pointer finger on my left hand. Apparently this takes some degree of talent when you're not a football player. Ortho says it will never bend completely again, and that I'll always know when it's going to rain!

Shattered my left arm and wrist - not sure exactly how many bones were involved in that mess.

Just a word of caution! Just a few minutes before I broke my arm, I proclaimed loudly that I had never broken a bone in my life. Then, within moments, I fell.

At lunch last week, I shared injury stories with a co-worker who proclaimed that he had broken lots of bones, but his days of injuries were behind him (he used to be a pro ball player). That evening, he broke his tibia and is still in the hospital, recovering from surgery.

So be careful talking about broken bones! :upsidedow

low-key if you're the man, then I'm the woman because I haven't broken any either :cheer2:

In no particular order:
Pinkie toes so many times I've lost count (now expert toe-taper ;)).
Bone or bones on top of right foot by dropping something heavy.
Three ribs fractured at different times, including once from coughing and once by leaning over the arm of a chair.
Clavicle.
Right femur twice, eight years apart - once near hip, once near knee.
Wrist, ice-'skating' in boots.

tibia, fibula, metatarsal and a few ribs. Have a toe that is dislocated as well as pinkie finger. Both never healed right'

L1, L2 and L3 vertebrae....no idea how but intense pain which led to the MRI of my back. I think it had something to do with my daughters birth, the pain started right after I had her.
Stress fracture in my foot from working out.
