How many at once?

Hi there,
I'm new to renting points, just trying to figure it all out. I will be travelling in May 2022 with my family, we will be four separate groups total, all looking for the exact same dates, resort, and room type. How possible is this? Thank you!

Depends on time and what resort and room size you want-can vary wildly.

What you would need to do is find different owners if you can’t find one who has enough points to get all the rooms for you.

Depending on the resort, and room size, it could prove difficult. The easiest could be using a broker as more owners to put the request to. However, you will have to decide if it’s all or nothing as most rentals can not be canceled.

There are a lot of variables, yes, number of points is important, in that one owner may not have sufficient number of points to rent that you need. You may have to work with more than one owner. You have a number of decisions to make, will everyone want there own room? Are some willing to share a 2 BR unit, which resort, arrival and departure dates, etc., all come into play. You could check the rent/trade board for a match after you figure out your needs.

If you want AKV value or boardwalk standard, for instance, you are outa luck.

Both really. But the first thing is knowing if there are 4 rooms at the resort of choice and then finding an owner..or multiple owners..who can book.

The issue with DVC is that rooms can be there one minute and gone the next. An owner could be booking and get only 2 and then there are no more.

if you are looking for anything but resorts like SSR or OKW which are large it is going to be tough.

And, you are already only 8 months out. Once 7 months hits, popular resorts will go fast because all owners can switch.
