How many are going in 2007 and have actually booked?

i am also planning a 2007 vacation, december 2007. i am waiting for the packages. this will be my first wdw vacation w/ my husband and son, the first time i will be paying for it!!

a few questions for this planning and paying newbie.....

if i do a room only reservation i pay the first night as a deposit. and if it is a split stay then i pay the first night on each resort. and then i pay the balance upon check in. right?

if i do a package then i only pay $200. when do i pay the rest? monthly? when i check in? can i even make payments on in throughout the year?

when you book a package, you must be paid in full 45 days before the trip. You can make payments however you want, as long as the balance is paid in full on time

We've been booked for May 2007 since May 2006. Staying at VWL 1 bedroom villa. I'd book it if you want to be sure to get resort you want. Some resorts can fill up quickly.

OK.....I broke and booked with Dreams Unlimited to day for 6 nights 7 days , in June 2007. Booked basic package until the 2007 rates come out.

We booked the basic plan for the Contemporary for May 9-16th. These aren't the original days we had planned, but when we called MK view was already booked for the week in april we wanted. To be on the safe side I suggest booking the basic plan or room only to secure the resort you want.

We're going first week of January for the marathon, so we did book. I was waiting for the AAA rates to come out, but I don't know now when that's going to happen, and I'm too worried about not having a room since my husband has been training so hard for this marathon.

We are also going some time next summer (August), but I'm nowhere near ready to book yet-- since I have no idea when we're going I'm waiting to find out which nursing school I'll be starting next summer,and I need to get their schedule to see when I'll have a break. But we're going in August this year,and I didn't book until May-- so I figure we'll be ok for a while.

We are going Feb 3rd '07 but have not booked yet because we are waiting for the packages to come out. Anyone know when they typically release them?? I am starting to get nervous. I am starting to think I should book without the package because I want to make dinning reservations in a couple of week. Any suggestions??

we are going dec 22 - jan 2 and are going to book a basic package in 2 weeks. I want to have SOMETHING started at least and then switch when the other stuff comes out.

we were going to pay on it monthly, but what i decided to do was open a ING account just for disney and deposit the money monthly into there. that way when it comes time to pay off the trip i can withdraw it from there and it will have gained intrest in the last year or so. even if it isnt that much it is still more than i would have had just paying.

I have a room only res. for CBR from March 17 - 25. Could someone please explain to me the difference between a room only res. and a basic package. I didn't know that was an option. Thanks.

We are going 2/8-2/13/07. We have not booked yet. I am waiting for the new rates to come out to decide where to stay. I am between Dolphin, POR, and WL. We will most likely end up at POR but I really want to be at the DOlphin or WL (never stayed at WL).
