How many ADRs do you make??

we always make one a day unless we are going for a brkfast and dinner then we make 2 for that day. we never stick with eating in our room...too much stuff that sounds better elsewhere

We made 3 ADRs for our 4 day/4 night stay.

2 dinners - L'Originale Alfredo di Roma and Les Chefs de France
1 character breakfast - 1900 Park Fare

We usually are CS people, but we have been making some lifestyle changes in the diet department and these ADR's will help us to no be totally bad during our stay. Most of the TS lunches and dinners are planned as salad meals. Maggie

I made 9 - we're on the dining plan, using 2TS for 1 and will be paying for 2 OoP.

SUN - Boma (dinner)
MON - Rose & Crown (dinner)
TUE - Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner before MVMCP - paying OoP)
WED - Raglan Road (dinner - gift certificate)
THU - Le Cellier (lunch) and Jiko (dinner - 2TS)
FRI - Restaurant Marrakesh (dinner)
SAT - Cinderella's Royal Table (dinner)
SUN - Boma (breakfast - paying OoP)

I can't wait!

We average about one and a half to two ADRs a day. We are also on the dining plan for our upcoming trip, so we'll pay out of pocket for all the kids meals, thereby doubling the amount of TS meals we can go to.

Our upcoming trip in January is actually the first time I've made ADRs, because we've never needed them before (and always ate where we wanted). I'm not even sure we'll need them this time, but just in case, for our week-long trip, I made four, even though we might change our minds. I just like doing things (like eating) at the spur of the moment when we feel like it, instead of planning our day around reservation times.

I have a dinner adr for each night for both of the upcoming trips. We'll just split a bagel for breakfast and grab a piece of fruit for lunch, but dinner is important to us, we like to relax, take our time, enjoy some wine with the meal, etc. For November, when it is just me and DH, we are eating at Palio, Jiko, Artist Point, California Grill and Le Cellier. In December, when we are traveling with my Dsis and her kids, we are eating at Raglan Road, Coral Reef, Chefs de France, Brown Derby (FDP), California Grill, and the Princess Storybook Dinner.

I make ADR's for every meal that we plan to sit down and eat. This helps us plan out the day and makes sure that meals don't take longer than they need.

We are going for 6 nights .. the first part of Jan .. have the following ADRs:

breakfast - none - will call for Spoodles, Cape May and/or Kona Cafe while there

lunch - RF Cafe @AK, Cindy's, GF Cafe, 50's, Rose and Crown

dinner - Kona Cafe, Spoodles, Yachtsman, Boma

also have meals planned at Noodle Station, Earl of Sandwich, and Beaches and Cream

yep .. we plan to eat :flower:

I make one for either Lunch or Dinner every day we are there. Sometimes for Lunch AND Dinner and occaisionally breakfast. Normally, we only eat 1 or 2 sit down breakfasts during the trip and then one of the others. I plan the days out and then if something should change on a given day then I rearrange it then. But by making them ahead it avoids chaos. When we have gone in late January/early Feb. I only make ADR for dinners or special types (luau or cindy's breakfast , etc) we "wing it" then because the crowds aren't as bad as they are in the summer. We can truly relax when we go at those times!

We are staying in WDW for 7 nights, 8 days. We have a character meal booked each night. Yep, really takin' advantage of that dining plan!

2 nights of Chef Mickey dinner
2 nights of 1900 Park Fare dinner
1 night of Liberty Tree Tavern dinner
and 2 nights of Crystal Palace dinner

We are going for 2 weeks and have a dinner ADR booked each night. We are staying DVC though so will have breakfasts and lunch there. I we were not staying DVC I might have booked a few more.

I made 7 for our upcoming trip

Day 1 - Chef Mickey (dinner)
Day 2 - Crystal Palace (lunch)
Day 3 - Castle Breakfast (breakfast)
Day 4 - Donald's Breakfast (breakfast)
Day 5 - Princess Breakfast at Norway (breakfast)
LeCellier (dinner)
Day 6 - 1900 Park Fair (breakfast)

Even if we don't have the ADR my wife has it planned where we will eat. She has teamed up with tourguide mikes suggestions this year. She was thrown a curve ball when we were fortunate to find someone kind enough to share an illuminations cruise with us. Lucky for us we were able to get another ADR by the yacht club with less then 90 days notice. So I guess you can say we have a lucky 13th adr this time.

I used to do one per day but now I am doing less since my 11 year old pays full price. Also, we have been to so many of the places and now know what our favorites are. For our upcoming family trip in January with my in laws I have one for most days and two ADR's on a couple of days. They are not counter service type of folks. For our April trip of 10 days I made four, partly to save money. Also, it does kind of affect the go with the flowishness of the trips if you have too many. Also with the 180 days out thing it was hard to know what we will want to eat in six months! At least they post the hours now too, which makes the whole process a lot easier.

hi
can iask what some of your fav restaurants are ?
what about DtD

We will be there the 9th-18. This trip is my birthday/Christmas/honeymoon(13 years late) all wrapped up in one. We're doing the Platinum package and made 25 ADR's. No sure how we are going to eat that many times, but that's what we got. It was very challenging to make all those plans

We also have about one per day. We are staying at BWV for part of our trip but we are only using the kitchen for breakfasts.
