How loud is fantasmic?

My youngest 4, is not super keen on noise. Does fantasmic have a lot of fireworks and is it as loud as Epcot show?

It is by FAR the loudest of all the "fireworks" shows at WDW.

And there is no "quiet area" anywhere in the theater will be very loud.

There is one particular "blast" that is the single loudest noise in all of Disney.

Since I know the show so well, I always cover my ears (and tell those around me to do so) for that blast.

Fantasmic doesn't have as many fireworks as Illuminations at Epcot. However, it's still a very loud show overall, with loud music and sound effects, and a few loud bangs. It also contains a lot of "scary" elements, with villians, fire, and explosions. I'd say that a 4-year-old has a good chance of being scared by it, especially if they don't like loud noises.

Are there quiet areas recomended for Wishes or the Epcot thingie.

I have watched Wishes from the beach at the Polynesian resort.
Its much quieter there (and quite beautiful). They even "pipe in" the audio from the MK on small speakers near the sidewalk. You can choose to view it there any night you'd like. Just take the resort monorail or the small boat transportation over to the Poly and find a spot to watch.
Also, having a meal in 'Ohana (Poly) is a great way to see Wishes with ZERO fireworks noise, and they have the audio track playing in the room.

As for IllumiNations (from this day on I will remember it as "the Epcot thingie") you can't really SEE it unless you are rignt on the lagoon, so no, not a quieter place for that one.
