How long

I grew up in South Florida, about 3- 3 1/2 hours from Disney and we would take frequent 2-3 night trips. That was never enough for me!!

So for the last couple years, we've been taking 2 4-5 ight trips a year, and now in September since we don't live in FL anymore we are going for our longest- 7 nights!! I am sooo excited about it, it seems short compared to your guys trips though!!!

Every year or so I manage to "sneak in" another night!! Started out as three nights ... now I'm up to 10 nights!!! (Four of those nights are Disney Cruise nights this year!!)

Yep....but trust me...even though we're ready to go home, we're planning our next trip back as soon as we get home. We really have short attention spans when it comes to vacations. I need to go somewhere about every 2-3 months or I get crazy vacation withdrawls, but if we are there for more than 5 nights everyone gets too antsy...

Here are my vacation plans for the next year

July-week in Ohio at Mom's
Nov-4 nights in Cancun
Jan-4 nights in Disney
March-4 nights in Jamaica
June-6 nights in Disney

I'm sure I'll toss another few days in here and there, but that's the schedule for now!!

14 to 21 days being as we are from England and it takes 9 hours and around $1600 per flight per person, I want my moneys worth.

We'll be at Fort Wilderness for 14 nights in December !!!!

Hollie the Yorkie's first trip to see the Mouse !!!!!

5 nights seems to do it for us. Longer created difficulties with getting catsitters at home. And 5 nights is fine, we are ready to come home then. If we could stay longer we would for sure, and our expectations would change- getting to those rides or exhibits or gardens that we had to miss on a shorter trip, or exploring the other resorts more.

My recent trips have been 4 and then 7 days. 4 days wasn't nearly enough. We weren't ready to leave after 7 either. We're shooting for 9 or 10 days this January. The longer you stay, the cheaper it is per day, as I'm sure you know.

We go for 4 or 5 nights usually- I would love to go for 7-10 days (We used to do that before the kids were school-aged) It is always too short. Since we go every 2 years or so (lately it is more like every year ;) ) we feel like we don't have to do everything- so these shorter trips work for us.

We usually go from 4-7 days. But starting July 9 we will be there for 11 days cant wait.

Usually 8-10 nights, it is a money thing for us, and now my wife has a new job there will be vacation time issues.

With eight nights we can relax a little and still see most of what we want, I have finally gotten to the point where if I don't see it all I can say okay that is for next time.

1st trip Ever.. We will be staying for 10 nights.. :cool1: :cool1:
I figured that would give us time to do everything we want and still have down time in the afternoon when it hot hot hot ... We are going in August..

As a government worker I have been very blessed...when we work o/t we have the option to get $ pay or "bank" the time as comp time at o/t rate :thumbsup2 so I have been managing a trip down twice a year with average stay of 2 weeks each time  :cheer2:
