How Long would you stay on a waitlist?

Headed to Disney in 18 days (MLK weekend).

Have 2 bdrm SSR booked for 2 nights and BCV for 2 nights. I am on waitlist for BCV first 2 nights AND BWV entire stay (both 2 bdrm).

I do not want to switch resorts at all, it is MOST likely I will end up at SSR for the entire stay.

I was ready to switch to SSR for the entire stay at the 30 day mark, but the member services person told me that there was plenty of room available at SSR and I should stay on the wait list until 7 days out...making me very nervous though.

How long would you wait??

Just a heads up, if you switch with less than 31 days to go, and the points for the new unit are LESS than what you have now. Those 'extra' points go into holding. Good luck with what ever you decide. Have a good trip.

They will automatically cancel at 7 days. Have you been checking the member website to see if any nights have come up? For the waitlist to fill, all the nights have to come up at the same time.

Yes, I know about the points, the only way it would be less is by switching to SSR.

I am checking as much as I can, but calling once a day as well...I am as much of a stalker as I can be.

Should I still wait...
