How Long With No Parks

If I recall I believe I've done a 3 day trip without visiting the parks. I could definitely do more because I do enjoy checking out the various deluxe DVC resorts, dining out and visiting DTD.

We did a last minute trip this past Easter. Actually stayed at DTD hotel B Resort for 5 days. Spent the day at the pool and then ventured to Disney Hotels, lounges shops, DTD, Ft Wilderness etc. We did this as a getaway and had not bought our new AP's since we needed to cover 2015 and 2016 Summer with it.

We had a great time.

Am I the only one who bought DVC to ride the convenient Disney Transportation System? There's so many choices! I love to tease the family by making them pose near the park entrance for a family picture. "This is as close as you're gonna get" I tell them.

Okay, so we only did that once during Easter week. I refuse to go to the parks at Easter. Been there, done that, didn't like it. But we did have fun, I think. Well one of us did. :rolleyes1

Depends on the resort for us. We enjoyed being at PVB enough that we could go a week without going into the parks. We would spend time at the pool, lobby area, visiting ther resorts, and going to DTD. If I golfed more often, I could see more time on the courses.

When we can easily walk from your resort to a park, it would be too difficult for us. BLT, BCV, and BWV would be too difficult for us to last more than a day or two.

Overall though, we would rather rent our points and visit other parts of the country and world than spend time at WDW without going into the parks.

I don't think we could do it. Maybe 1 day. That's it for sure tho. We're parks people and that's why we bought DVC...
