How long will the 60th Anniversary Celebration last?

Does anyone know how long the 60th Anniversary decorations will be up and 60th Anniversary items be available at the parks? We are planning a trip for June 2016 and I would like to see all the special Anniversary stuff again. I would also like to see the new World of Color (I didn't get to see it last month) and the 60th Anniversary fireworks again, not to mention Paint The Night.

I had read on another board 18 months. Is that true? Is it 18 months from this July? That would be great!

I live in San Diego and there were a lot of radio shows covering the 60th anniversary celebration. Representatives from Disney were interviewed about it, on two different shows, and both stated it would last a year and a half (from May).

I'd say you're going to be fine. The actual anniversary isn't until July 17, 2015, so it should run until at least July 16, 2016. When Disney has something to celebrate, they try to make it last a while.

Hoping for it to be there in Nov 2016 when we are going. We may be able to go in Sept but after our last time in sept with 108 degree temps and humid I am terrified of sept.

Wow! 108 in September, that is terrible. Know wonder you are terrified, I don't blame you.

It was mid sept like 18th ish. First day was 108 and second was 106. It was terrible.

Please tell me that is highly unusual.
