How long will space mountain be down to remove the Halloween overly?

Hi All,

Just saw that Space Mountain will be down for refurbishment starting Nov 1 to remove the Holiday overlay. Does anyone know how long this usually takes? I'm hoping but doubting it'll be back up for at least the last day of my trip, which runs Nov 5 through the 8th.

Space is only going to be down 5 days to put up the overlay, so if I were you I would be optimistic that Space would be up and running for part, if not all, of your trip. I guess the only thing that could hang this up would be if Disney decides to do some extra refurbishment when they have Space down to remove the overlay.

Last year it was only closed one day for overlay removal. I wouldn't worry about it.

The only official source, of course, is the Disneyland calendar. I like to browse other fan sites though like MousePlanet.com and MiceAge.com, and they often will post ride refurbishment schedules. They seem to get these schedules from official sources most of the time yet often have the info posted before Disney updates their own calendar.
