How Long will it take?

I feel a little silly posting this because I have helped people determine how much time to set aside for the drive from MCO to WDW. BUT, either I am having brain freeze or I am trying to fool myself. So here goes:

How long will it take me to get from a 6:05 arrival time at MCO with a rental car from the EA and checked bags down to the Poly? I am attempting to see the 8pm Wishes that evening and get my DS fed and get him to bed. I think I am doing too much but I really want to see Wishes right after we get in. Do you think I could make a 7pm PS for 'OHana and actually make it? I thik I am fooling myself so let me know if you think we could even make it the Poly in time to step out ot the pool and watch the fireworks. That being said I do not expect anyone to try and account for a terrible flight that could possibly be late.

If you flight arrives at 6:05 pm, then I would not make reservations for 7:00. If your plane is on time, it's a good bet, that it will take between 20-30 min. for you to get your luggage. And another 20-30 min. to arrive at the Poly. And that is if everything runs smoothly. I would say, "If your plan is to see Wishes, then you should have plenty of time".

Yup - thanks for posting a little reality into my plans. I just seem to be getting really nutty about this this time due to crowd anxiety.

I think that you could totally make the 8pm Wishes, but not the 7pm PS at 'Ohana.

Maybe grab something quick to eat, see Wishes, and save 'Ohana for a different night?
