How long will it take to drive from Windsor Hills to MK?

What time do I need to leave our villa to drive, park and be standing in line for rope drop next week taking into account Christmas traffic?

We allowed 45 min in late Oct/Nov. No traffic to speak of. It only took about 12 minutes to get to the parking lot. The rest of the time was getting from there to rope drop. Just made it through bag check as the train came in.
I would imagine there will be a lot more people trying to get there and get through the bag check also.

I agree. 45 minutes is a good number. Parking, ticketing, bag check and tram to the park is the bulk of the time spent. Give yourself a few extra minutes at the WH gate as well. If a large number of people are trying to exit at the same time, it may take a few minutes longer to scan everyone out.

If MK opens at 9, we always leave around 8 or 8:10 at the latest. We are usually there about 15/20 minutes before rope drop but it gets us at the front of the pack. The drive is less than 15 minutes.
