how long will homemade sauce keep

I made a big pot of sauce and meatballs on Sunday. How long can the sauce keep in the fridge? The meatballs will be gone by tonight but there is left over sauce. I could use the sauce next weekend but do I have to freeze it?

I would freeze it if you are going to wait until next week to heat it up again.

Spaghetti and meatballs sound great!! Now I'm hungry!

I agree, I would freeze it if I wasn't going to use within 3 days.
