Hi everyone, I'm a new owner by resale since juin 12TH ( paper was send at the title company) and than nothing, a big nothing, I'm waiting to be in the system, I called many time MS and zero name:mad: :mad: :mad:

Was it for you as long as it for me ?
 
It takes resales several weeks. Check with your resale agent for status.
 
I checked with her, everything is finish, I'm the owner, I'm just waiting to be in the system since the 12 of june

Yes it was. But here is a even better story. Been DVC members since 1999.
Financed through Disney. We paid off the loan 2 years early in Dec 2006. We just received Satisfaction of mortgage June 27th from the county. They hadn't even received the paperwork from Disney until June 20th. :headache:

I was told it should only be 10 business days from closing to being in the system. I am in the 10 business day time frame now. I certainly hope it does not take a month.

Have you spoke to your agent?
 
I have heard that direct Disney sales get processed first. If you think that getting in the system takes a while, just see how long it takes to get your blue card. :)
 
Call your agent or maybe Disney direct.

I don't remember it taking that long for us.
 
This happened to us.

We finally had the broker call Disney and confirm that we were in the system. Yet every time we called Member Services, they would ask our name, then our address, and say we weren't in the system yet.

So I asked MS to assume that our address had been entered wrong. Was there some other way to look us up?

Eventually they figured out that our contract had been entered with the wrong address. It took a bit to get that fixed, but it's fixed now.

You might want to check into that.
 
Thought I read here that the best way is to call MS and have them search by your SS#.
 
I'd call your broker - it seldom takes more than two weeks and you are well over that.

True...if someone gave them their SS#. We didn't, because we don't like giving that out except when necessary. :)

OUFFFF! I called MS this morning and I was in the system ( I did not receive the email but), was able to do my first ressie in my home resort :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

It takes a while to be in the system ( close since june 12th ) so be PAAAATTTTTIENT it's the word

Just wanted to let you know that I closed on a resale through TSS on July 2nd, one week ago today. I thought I would give MS a call today and I was in the system, points and all. I made 2 ressies today. Can't believe it only took 4 business days,

We had trouble too, but MS got me connected to member accounting who figured out what the problem was... Apparantly the closing company failed to send the check to Disney to have them close out the sellers account or something like that...

Call MS and ask to speak to member accounting!
