How long until you are assigned a coordinator?

I sent in my $500 deposit for our intimate wedding... and when I spoke to Doreen and asked her questions, she was always responding "That is a good question for your coordinator".

So... when do I get one?? I sent the deposit last week and it got there on Friday. So tomorrow will be one week.

Just curious. I wanna start planning for real!

I think it took us a couple of weeks.

I remember because I paid my deposit when I booked (in April for a September wedding). And, I had to call them back a few weeks later because I hadn't heard from anyone.

With the holiday there might be some people on vacation and such...I would say if you haven't heard from anyone by Tuesday to call back.

From the date my contract was received, it took exactly 1 week to receive a call from my planner.
BTW, she mentioned she was going away from Wed. last week until Wed. next week. Perhaps w/ the holiday, more are off than usual???

It takes a while...I know it is hard to be patient when you are so excited and ready to get going!!! They meet and assign coordinators I believe every week for a custom, maybe it is every few weeks for an intimate coordinator! If you haven't heard from anyone after your check has been cashed, call your sales manager and they can help you. Don't do this until you give it some time though.

I'm glad to hear this because I just got my contract today and will be mailing it out by Monday, so I was curious when I would be assigned my coordinator too.

It took exactly 2 weeks before they received our contract, and somebody called us to let us know it had been received. We then checked out our wish list on the website to find a picture of our co-ordinator. We have had e-mails from her , but as yet have not spoke to her. Like you I am very keen to speak to her to discuss things with her.

Does anybody know how long this takes?
