How long until points get added?

Hello everyone,

I am getting antsy. My husband and I own points at Polynesian with a use year of December, bought directly from Disney. We recently purchased at SSR resale, with a use year of August. I have called member services and talked to member administration. I have a new member number, it showed up last Thursday. The points for August 2017 haven't showed up. I get no help when I call. The first woman I spoke to told me the point won't show up until August and I can book after that. I asked to speak to someone else who told me that it can take up to a month for the points to show up. Does it really take that long? I want to book a trip. Any suggestions?

When did you get the new member number? Does it show up in your online account? Points seem to take a day or two - three at most - to show up after the membership is created.

My member number showed up last Thursday. It's on my dashboard, but no points.

Usually only takes a couple of days, I would call again.

I would call back. You get the new member id and then need the club id number and activation code. Once those are received from MS you login to your existing account and click, "add member id ". As soon as the new numbers are added, the new resort and points should show up. If different uy and resort then you just click between the different resorts on your dashboard.

Like others have said, I've been told anywhere between "next day" and 72 hours. But when the person told me 72 hours the points were actually loaded the next day. Something's not right about your conversation. Either you misheard what they said or they told you something that was completely incorrect. But that's the wonderful thing about Disney, if you don't like the answer, just hang up and call back.

I called today, twice. The second time, I finally got someone that was very nice and willing to help. I finally have my points added!! I'm so excited. I already booked for January. Thank you everyone for the advice.
