How long to walk the Epcot resort loop?

We want to look at the Xmas decorations at the boardwalk, yacht and beach club resorts. How long should we plan for this? Can we walk to each resort, or is it more feasible to drive to each resort?

I would definitely park once and walk around - it's a beautiful walk! As for how much time you need, it depends how fast your party walks. I'd say if you walk without really stopping, 30 min. If you want to actually stop and enjoy what you see, plan on more. Have fun and take it all in!

The loop around the lake is about .8 miles so depending how fast you walk and if you stop anywhere it could take from 10-30 minutes.

The Dolphin is worth a look too!

The Swan is worth it too. Definitely park once and walk around. It's one of my favorite spots in all of Disney World. Especially this time of year. I would say to plan an hour to walk and see the decorations (you'll also want to go into each resort's lobby area).

Of course, then there's my in-laws who took (and I am not kidding) took over four hours for this walk.

We were just there 2+ weeks ago, we took the disney bus system to the beach club and then walked around all resorts then into Epcot, no lines to enter Epcot. We spent about an hour or so on the walk which included picture stops and shops on the boardwalk. I'm glad we took the time to do this walk, we might stay here next time.

I make this walk frequently when staying at the Epcot resorts. At a leisurely pace without going into the resorts, it takes about 15 minutes to do Boardwalk, Yacht, and Beach Club. If you add in the Swan and Dolphin, add another ten minutes. I would give yourself at least 15 minutes per resort to look around and take pictures (don't forget the camera!), longer if you want to peruse the gift shops. If you're there around lunch time, stop in Beaches and Cream at the Yacht and Beach Club.
