I don't know if this is the right place for this question. We have an ADR at Spoodles and I am wondering how long will it take us to walk from or to the WS in Epcot to the restaurant?? It will be DH, me and our 3 kids with two in a stroller. I have never used to International Gateway before and don't know how far of a walk it will be. We plan to go from the WS to dinner and then back to WS for Illuminations, would it be easier to drive from Epcot to Boardwalk or take the Gateway???

Any help would be great!!!

Sorry, meant to post this in the Main Disney Restaurant board not the DDP board!! I don't know how to move it, so sorry again.

We just did this on our August trip. After you leave WS you will walk a short distance and take a left on the bridge that runs along the Boardwalk. It is probably 5 minutes from there. Probably 10 minutes total. The Boardwalk is so pretty I think you will enjoy the walk. I think it would be more of a hassle to drive. I had never been to the Boardwalk before so we really enjoyed this experience. We also enjoyed the restaurant and will be going back there next year. My kids we able to order fettucini even though it is no longer on the menu. I had the Steak Kabobs and Creme Brulee for dessert...Yumm!

It's about a 5 to 10 minute walk from WS to Spoodle's. If you are driving to the park, instead of taking Disney transportation, it may be easier to park at the Boardwalk and use the International Gateway entrance. This way you won't have to walk from that side of WS to Future World to the entrance/exit, then to the parking lot.

Yes, this is true if you are driving anyway. I have also heard that parking at the Boardwalk makes it alot easier when leaving the park after Illuminations is over.

You could take the boat from international gateway to the Boardwalk where Spoodles is located. It may take about 10-15 minutes taking the boat depending on how long you are waiting for the boat.

Anyone know how long the walk would be from MGM to Spoodles?

You can take the boat here too. 15 minutes to get there (about)

Hmm.. does that mean that walking is out of the question? I will prob take the boat.. but was wondering about possible alternatives..

Sometimes walking is actually faster than the boat, depending upon how long you have to wait for the boat to arrive at MGM. 2 years ago, we'd just missed a boat as it was pulling away from the MGM dock...so, it was about 20 minutes before another came, and then about a 15 minute ride to Boardwalk, so 35 minutes. It would've been faster to walk...maybe 20 minutes?

We have walked from MGM to spoodles. Most of the time we do better walking b/c of the long wait and lots 'o people. Takes about 15 minutes (give or take) depends on whether or not my giant DH walks slow or fast (then for us short people it's a run and 5 secs!!);)
