No tags? No problem!
You can still use DME to the fullest extent.
You can stil skip baggage claim. Just go directly to the DIsney Welcome Center (known around here as the DME counter). They'll ask if you tagged your bags, and you'll say no. They ask for your baggage claim ticket numbers, as well as a physical description of each bag. A CM will then be dispatched to go to baggage claim and claim your bags for you. He/she will then bring the bags back behind-the-scenes, print out computerized DME tags for them, and then send them on their way with the rest of the "normal" DME luggage to the Disney luggage sorting facility on the grounds of the airport.
So in other words, even if you don't have your tags you'll be fine. And also, when you check in at the DME counter, they'll give you bus vouchers, too. As long as you have a reservation, then not having the paperwork doesn't matter a bit.
I wandered into this forum by accident. I don't speak Canadian, so I hope you can understand my accent.
