How Long To Wait For Confirmations?

I booked my reservations with Small World on July 22nd. The TA told me it would be about three weeks and I would recieve a packet in the mail. I realize three weeks was only last Friday but I get nervous about things getting screwed up. It's happened before! I called Disney to check on the reservation and they are having problems with their system. Am I being paranoid??

Small World was NOT the ones who messed up a previous reservation

I booked direct through Disney (6/20) and never got a confirmation. When I made a change to the reservation a couple of weeks ago, I promptly got a "modified" reservation in the mail.

I verifyed my trip online when I was worried that it hadn't gone through.

I didn't get a confirmation when I initially made the reservation-it was done with Disney online. But everytime I've called them about adding, changing, or verifying anything about the reservation I get a confirmation packet within a couple of days.

I booked a trip June 1st and I still do not have any paper confirmations!

I made resv. and didn't get a confirmations in the mail and forgot the date the deposit was due and lost my resv. by 1 day.
I complained to Guest Services about not receiving any confirmation and loosing my AP rate, and they told me that they do not have control over the Postal Service, (no kidding!) and they give you the due date so if you don't get a confirmation you can call with a credit card.
I made the resv in June, several modifications (that I received confirmations on) been to DW and back, and still not have received my original resv. I guess it's the Postal Services fault. (I've never had problems with my mail).
So needless to say I'd call and check on my resv. it couldn't hurt.

I also booked through small world on 7/26 and haven't received any confirmation by mail yet. I'm not going to stress it though because I was told that it might come shortly before we leave. But seeing asthough we only have a little over 2 weeks left, I'm waiting everyday for it to arrive.

My TA from Small World just got home from vacation last night and e-mailed me immediatly. Since you booked so close to when you are leaving I wouldn't worry about. If you have the same person I do I'm sure it will be fine. Have a great trip.

I wouldn't worry about it. Though I booked through WDWTC it did still take me about a month to recieve my conf. Everytime I make a change or a payment I get a new conf. and it usually came about 3-4 weeks after I made the change. Don't worry about it. To set your mind at ease give Disney a call and conf. your ressies. It never hurts! Have a magical trip
