We are going to eat breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at Ohana on the 26 of August, which is my son's 6th birthday:cool1: . We are planning EPCOT for that day, and it happens to be an EMH morning day. I am wondering how long it takes to get from EPCOT to the Poly. I can't decide if we should keep our 9:10 ressies and go straight from our resort (ASMO) to the Poly, and thus miss all the a.m. EMH's, or if I should take the 10:50 ressie that a kind dis member has offered me, and try and squeeze in some of the EMH morning hours BEFORE going over to the Poly. I'm just not sure if that will be reasonable travel wise, or if we won't really have enough time to do much at EPCOT before we have to leave for our breakfast....Thanks for any advice you can give!!

Travel time between Epcot and Poly is not that long at all. If you take the monorail and get off at the TTC, you can actually walk to the Poly via a pathway, however the walking time from TTC to the main building is a good 10-15 min walk. Its up to you if you want to do EMH, but know that you probably won't get too much in before your ADR or even your possible new ADR.

This is one of the fastest transportation routes on property IMO. It will probably take less than 30 minutes although being careful about time, I'd allow 40 minutes.

The Epcot monorail runs frequently and the ride itself is probably less than 10 minutes....funny but I've never timed that. Then you can transfer to the resort monorail and be on the second floor of the GCH where 'Ohana is located in a few more minutes...it's the next stop and a ride of about a minute. Or you can walk in about ten minutes. If you're not familiar with the Polynesian, follow the signs and once on the Polynesian property, walk on the sidewalk that runs along the parking lot. Walking within the grounds is prettier but can be a tad confusing. The GCH is quite a large building.

But I'd probably switch to the resort monorail unless there are problems on it that am.

It's like a 10 to 15 min ride! It's quicker to hop on it first then go to TTC rather than walk there unless your room is close to the TTC.

We enjoy the ridef to Epcot..have fun!

We stayed at the Poly last Aug and ate dinner almost every night at EPCOT. I think we allowed 30 minutes door-to-door and it was probably closer to 20 minutes.

If you can wait until 11:00 am to eat breakfast, you might do that. You'll definitely finish EMH. Plus once the park officially opens, EMH is pretty much out the window, we've found. You get on one or two things (though never done EMH at EP) and the hour's basically over. You'll finish the front of EPCOT completely before breakfast. You might even get on Test Track :rotfl2: (it's always closed when we're there). Then maybe go to MK for the afternoon?
