How Long to Receive Visa Rewards Gift Card?

When you redem your Disney Visa Rewards points for a Disney Gift Card, how long does it take for Visa to get the gift card to you?

We are leaving for our trip 20 days after our next statement end-date, and I'd like to order the gift card after that statement is complete so it will include the points I'm earning this month. Is 20 days easily enough time for them to send me the card?

It should be. I ordered ours last week, and the lady on the phone said I'd have it by today. (I haven't checked the mail yet, but I'm confident.) If you order right away after your statement closing, that should give you plenty of time for it to arrive.

You don't get a gift card. You get a Disney Rewards Card. It pretty much works the same way as a gift card except that it has an expiration date.

Order the card now but only put $20 in rewards dollars on it ($10 if you've ordered rewards cards before). Leave the rest in your account. You will need to have at least $10 in rewards dollars to make any additional transfers. The card should arrive in a week to 10 days. Once your statement closes, you can call to have the remainder of the funds transferred to the card.

I got mine within 10 days after ordering it by phone.

I ordered mine off the website and got it about a week later. Last year we ordered one and it didn't come in time. We got one at the Town Hall in Magic Kingdom. I only put $10 on it when I order them just for that reason. Then we added more to it during the trip.

I just go to Guest Services. They give me a card I call Chase and they load and activate. Easy.

I didn't realize I could do this. I have about $55 in rewards now. So you are saying I can order a card now with $20 on it and then after my next statement closes I can just transfer the remaining $35 (plus what I earn this month) to the same card? And I can do the transfer of the remaining rewards online, or have it done at Town Hall as other have mentioned?
