How long to receive Mypoints webcertificates??

Does anyone know how long it usually takes to receive webcertificates from Mypoints? I had placed an order for another reward in mid-September and see now that the points have been put back in my account. I wanted to use this for Christmas but not sure I'll have the time!

Any experiences? Thanks!!:D
 
I had been waiting for a Webcertificate that I redeemed points for on 10/2/03. I noticed through the Disboards that Mypoints had 2 Webbie runs since I redeemed those points. Well after several emails back and forth telling me to be patient, it would come soon, I decided to give them a call today. One of Customer Service reps told me it was released to Webcertificate.com and sent out on 10/09/03. He said he would give me their phone number as they had the history on it and they would be able to tell me what happened. I called Webcertificate.com and was told that they had it, it was never claimed! They told me they would send me an email for it in 15 minutes. Ten minutes later I had my Webbie. What I'm trying to say here is maybe your's wasn't sent/claimed either so they put the points back in your account. Just a guess.
 
The first reward I tried for wasn't a webbie. I only requested these webbies 5 days ago so I don't expect they'd be here by now. I'm just really hoping I'll have them soon so I can use them for Christmas!

I'm sorry! I misunderstood what you wrote. As for the Webbies, other than the one that I had trouble with, I cashed out for one on 08/31/03, received it 10/06/03. I cashed out for another Webbie on 8/30/03 and received it 10/17/03. I have noticed that lately they seem to be sending them out little quicker. Hope that helps!

I cashed out for a $25.00 WebCertificate on 9/17/03. I have not received it and have emailed MyPoints twice in the last two weeks without a reply from them.
Is is possible you could provide me with the customer service phone number? Maybe if I call I will get some kind of answer.

I just now noticed the "sticky" with the reward program phone numbers at the top of this message board.

How soon should I redeem for gc's (Rainforest Cafe) and webbies in order to have them for my Feb 04 trip to WDW? Should I redeem now in order to have them in time?
 
Guess I was one of the lucky ones :confused: I cashed in my points for 2 webbies on 10/28/03 and received my claim email on 11/03/03.

I wouldn't worry about waiting to cash in for the Rainforest GC's as they seem to come very quickly in the mail (I have cashed out for two so far and they both came with in a few weeks after cash out) As far as the webbie, you might want to do that a bit sooner, since MyPoints/Webcertificates does not seem to be consistant on when they process them.
 
Well, I cashed out on October 31, so I guess I shouldn't be too worried. However, it is now showing my points as being gone instead of "pending" for redemption. Any thought on how long it'll take once they are officially "gone"?LOL
 
My points were gone a few days after I cashed out as well and the claim email took about 4 days to arrive.
 
I just cashed today, and in the weekly account statement next to the negative points, where they usually tell you when shopping points will be available, it says 12/22. I'm assuming that means my webbies will be "available" then?
 
I just cashed in for 2 webcerts today. Am going to wait for more points before I cash in for RC gc's since those seem to come faster.

I'm pretty sure that means if your points are still in the "pending" section by that date, that's when they will return your point to you. That just happened to me. I had placed an order for another reward in mid-September and my points were put back in my account a week ago.:D
 
I emailed them at mypoints, only because I had already tried to redeem in mid-September for another gift certificate and it wasn't available. I wanted to know when I should get my webcertificate, if it would be in time for Christmas. This is the reply I just got:

Thank you for contacting MyPoints Member Care.

Our records indicate that your Webcertificate redemption was placed on
10/31/2003. Webcertificates generally take 10-15 business days to be
processed, so you should receive an email from Webcertificate.com very
soon. Their email will allow you to claim your order.

Please note that occasional delays may cause your notification from the
vendor to take a little longer to reach you, but rarely longer than 15
business days.

If you do not receive notification from the vendor within the specified
time period, you may contact us again at membercare@mypoints.com. We
would be happy to assist you in claiming your reward.

Well, thanks for letting me know! I thought that seemed to be an awfully long time for something that only needed to be emailed! :eek:
I'm glad I posted here...I wouldn't have even contacted them until after 12/22...LOL! :crazy2:
